 | Jim Jamieson JAMIESON Wm. James (Jim) 1923 -2009 Formerly of Lersureworld. Passed away at the North Bay General Hospital -Scollard Site on Monday, May 25th, 2009. Loved son of the late William and Mary Jamieson of Callander. Predeceased by his wife Clara (McDonald) and by his siblings Gordon (Jeanne deceased), Lawrence (Maij), Wilmer (Marion), Lovlnna Perrin (Sid deceased), and Jean Hamilton (Len). He is survived by his sisters Eilleen Way (Leo deceased), Eveline Duffy (Ron deceased), and Gloria Rowlandson (Barry). Jim is survived by hie step-children Bob McDonald (Ellen), Darren McDonald, Donna Pagnutti (Frank), Cheryl Lamarche (Gary), Lynn Brunette (Paul), Terry Pitre (Don) and their families. He will be fondly remembered by many nephews and nieces. Jim loved music and played the violin & will always be remembered for playing the old fiddle tunes. Visitation will be held in the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 28th, 2009 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at the Callander Union Cemetery. If desired donations to the North Bay General Hospital Foundation or the Kidney Foundation of Canada will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.

Special Grandpa to Jaden LaFrance of High River, Greg Martin of Edmonton, Natasha Khan ( A.J. ) of Cold Lake Alberta and ten Great-Grandchildren. Dear son of The Late Joseph and Anne LaFrance and son-in-law of The Late Ellie and Derek Payne. Dear brother of Joey LaFrance ( Kathy ) of Thessalon, Billy Towns ( Audra ) of Cold Lake Alberta, Steven Towns of Vancouver, Linda Towns of Alberta and The Late Cathy and Debbie. Dear brother-in-law of Peter Grove ( Regina ) of Germany. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon on Thursday April 30, 2015 at 7pm with Randy Morritt officiating. Donations to the Cancer Society gratefully accepted. Special thanks to the staff of the Thessalon Hospital for the wonderful care that Jim received.

A member of St. Anthony Parish; had served overseas in the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Army.
Husband of the former Marjorie Spenser; father of Donald, Michael and Mrs. Harvey (Donna) Deslauriers, all of Kitchener; brother of Robert of Richmond Hill, Mary Ellen and Bridgette, both of Trout Creek, Lillian of South River, Evelyn of London, Ont. Two grandsons, Shane Tucker and John Scott Deslauriers also survive. Predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Joseph, Anthony and Howard; two sisters, Anne and Kathleen.
Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be said at the funeral home, today at 8 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Saturday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass and committal service at St. Anthony Daniel Church at 10 a.m., with Father S. Dear sister of Dianne Cameron (Donald) and Connie Hickey and sister-in law to Marlene and Betty. Survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as a large extended family. Predeceased by her siblings, Ron (Teresa), Ken (Edna), Ted (Shirley), Harold "Bud" (Evelyn), Bruce (Grace), Bob and Doug, and brother-in-law Doug Harkness.
Jo-Ann was a quiet soul who will be remembered for her unconditional support and steadfast love for her family.

Mrs. Bush died Thursday evening at her home in Norfolk.
Mrs. Bush was a self-employed house cleaner.
She was a member of the Norfolk Wesleyan Church and Norfolk American Legion Auxiliary.
Born July 31, 1938, in Norfolk, daughter of Earl and Marion Ferris Worley, she married Lyle Bush on Feb. 5, 1961. He died before her.
Surviving are a son and his wife, Allen and Darlene; a daughter and her companion, Marion Gardner and Raymond Bluemer; two brothers, James Worley and the Rev. David W. Worley; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ann Ash and Patricia and Harold Thompson, four grandchildren and five great-granddaughters.
Two brothers, Earl Worley Jr. and Arthur J. Werley, died before her.
