He was born in Racine on September 28, 1915, and was a retired vice- president of the North Side Bank, Mr. Pero was married in 1940 to the former Jeannette Dunn, who survives him. He was a member of St. John Nepomuk Church, In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dennis, (Alice) Pero of Roselle, N.J.; daughter and son-in-law, Diana (Larry) Camp of Mukwonago, Wis.; six grandchildren, Jenny, Julie, Sky, Michael, Michele, and Amy; two great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Kyle. Friends and relatives may meet with the family THIS (Friday) EVENING from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Maresh-Meredith Funeral Home. ST. JACOBS - Joseph B. Everatt of Queen Street died today at K-W Hospital after lengthy illness. He was 66.
Born in Wellesley Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Everatt, he was a member of St. James's Lutheran Church.
Surviving besides his wife, the former Augusta Spencer, whom he married in 1928, are one brother, Sydney of Stratford, and eight sisters, Mrs. Anne Snyder, Mrs. Elmer (Katherine) Mayer, Mrs. Herbert (Clara) Lichty, Mrs. Abram (Elizabeth) Herner, Mrs. Lorne (Celida) Krupp, all of Kitchener; Mrs. Raymond (Vera) Hoerle and Mrs. Wilfred (Erma) Knarr, both of Waterloo, and Mrs. Benjamin (Amanda) Roth of Wellesley.
He was predeceased by brother, Alvin.
The body is at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Friday at noon when removal will be made to the church for service at 2:30 p.m. Burial be in the church cemetery. Rev. Harold Brill will officiate.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.

Joseph Bailey Keeble of Atascadero died at home Friday. He was 74.
Private family memorial services and cremation will be held.
Mr. Keeble was born Aug. 29, 1909 in Clayburn, Tex.
A former resident of Madera, he was a coach and teacher at Madera High School from 1946 to 1972. He served in the U.S. Navy a and was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Stillwell Keeble of Atascadero; two sons, Bob Keeble of Healdsburg and Joe Keeble of Nevada City; four grandchildren and a sister.
Chapel of the Roses is in charge of arrangements.

 | Joseph Banning BANNING 2010-05-15 Mr. Joseph David James Banning, 90 years, of Nipigon, Ontario passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at his residence in the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital. Dave was a Veteran of World War II. He served with the Canadian Air Force?s flying bombers and was shotdown on D-Day night. He spent a year as a prisoner of war before returning home in June. He married his love Mary (nee Robson) on July 7, 1945 shortly after his return. David and his brother Mark ran Banning Brothers Electrical for many years. Dave retired from Domtar Ltd. at 65 after twenty years of service. He was a founding member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4247 in Red Rock, a founding member of the Nipigon Legion Fall Fishing Festival and was involved in the start-up of the old Nipigon Ski Hill. Dave was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #32, Nipigon, the Nipigon Curling Club and the North Shore Golf Club. He was long time member of the Catholic School Board serving as secretary/treasurer for a number of years. Dave was also a Volunteer Fireman for thirty years. Predeceased by his wife Mary on July 7, 2009, by his parents Mary (nee Dunnigan) and Edgar Banning, by five siblings ? Victor, Leo, Gerald and Mark Banning and Mary Thompson and by a nephew Danny Banning; he is survived by four children ? Colleen (& Bob) Vogt of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Paul Banning of Langley, British Columbia, Beth Banning (& Ralph Chaboyer) of Nipigon and Brian (& Germaine) Banning of Red Rock, Ontario, by seven grandchildren ? Cindy (& Grant) Rochon and Shawn (& Cheri) Stanfield both of Thunder Bay, Chris DeCicco (& Carey Timony) of Lively, Ontario, Seana (& Mitch) Brennen and Megan (& Andrew) St. Jean both of Nipigon, Braeden and Tamara Banning both of Langley, British Columbia, by ten great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives also survive. According to Dave?s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial mass for David Banning, in the care of Elliott Funeral Home Ltd., Nipigon will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11 A.M. at the Church of the Annunciation with Father M. McWatch officiating. Interment of cremains will be in Cliffside Cemetery, Nipigon, at a later date. Friends so wishing may make donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital ? Long Term Care.

Joseph B. Bramble, 53, of 305 W. Court St., Rome, a policeman at Griffiss AFB for the past 13 years, died yesterday in Rome Hospital after suffering a heart attack at his home.
Mr. Bramble is survived by his widow, Norma M. Bramble; and two daughters, Shelly Jo and Kimberly Sue Bramble; two sisters, Mrs. Alfred V. Ferry, Assonet, Mass. , and Mrs. Celia Boucher, Connecticut.
A requiem high Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul's Church tomorrow at 9:30 with burial in the spring.
Friends may call at the Prince and Boyd Home for Funerals today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Surviving are his wife, Emma; two sons, William of Sheboygan, Wis. and Clarence of Racine; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Jeannette) Pero of Racine; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Kupsch of Racine; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday Jan. 3 at 2 p. m. in the First Evangelical United Brethren Church with Rev. Nathan Bartel officiating. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery, Friends may call at at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 1139 Blaine Ave., this afternoon and evening. The body will be taken to church on Thursday morning at 12 noon to lie in state until time of services.

A former resident of North Bay, Joseph King of St. Catharines died Wednesday at Hotel Dieu Hospital, St. Catharines following a brief illness. He was 73.
Friends may pay their respects at Paul Funeral Home today after 7 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Paul Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Nipissing Cemetery.
Born March 21, 1906 at Nipissing, Mr. King was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William King.
Mr. King was employed with the CPR at Little Current for 31 years and was a member of the senior citizens club,, St. Catharines, a member of the Orange Lodge at Little Current and a former member of the town council at Little Current.
Mr. King is survived by his wife, the Thelma Allan whom he married Oct. 13, 1927 at North Bay; one son, Gordon of Los Angeles and one daughter, Mrs. Clayton (Norma) Taylor of Elliot Lake.
Also surviving are five brothers and four sisters: Simon and Daniel of Nipissing; George and Henry of Sudbury; John of Blind River; Mrs. Fred (Ruth) Young of Powassan; Rufus (Ethel) Newbatt of Thunder Bay; Mrs. Richard (Florence) Bushy of Iron Bridge and Mrs. Jean Yerkie of St. Catharines.
Ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survive.
