SITTLER, Joseph - On February 26, 1982, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Joseph Sittler, aged 50 years.
Beloved husband of Merle of 388 Langside St., 1 Winnipeg.
Mr. Sittler was born in St. Jacob's, Ont. He was a member of the Canadian Legion, Branch 1.
He leaves to mourn his four daughters, Dawn Ashom, Dana, Kimberley and Sherry Sittler and three grandchildren, all of Winnipeg; his father, Jacob Sittler and step-mother. Frances of St. Jacob's. Also two brothers, seven sisters. two step-brothers and two step-sisters.
Predeceased by his mother, Lydia Spencer and two brothers.
Memorial service was held Tuesday, March 2 at Herstone Memorial United Church. Rev. Joseph Redpath officiated. Cremation has taken place.
Should friends desire in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Candian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 202777 Portage Ave., Winnipeg.

WEYER, Joseph C. (Age 89) Entered into rest April 24, 2019 at his home in Spokane, WA. Joe was born July 4, 1929 in Calgary, Alberta to Andrew and Jane Weyer. The family immigrated to the U.S. in 1936 settling in Spokane. Joe attended Dishman Grade School and graduated from Gonzaga Prep in 1947. He enlisted into the Army from 1952-1954 during the Korean conflict. He served as an electrical engineer and was later discharged as a Corporal. Joe graduated from Seattle University in 1961 and worked as a social worker for the State of Washington and ARC of Spokane. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Catherine, June 7, 1969, Wilma, October 3, 1998, Tom, November 3, 2010, Margaret, July 16, 2011, Pat, June, 15, 2016, and Bill, January 2, 2018. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at Peone Prairie Cemetery, 1:00 P.M. May 18, 2019.

Unexpectedly at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday April 4, 2012. Josiah Grant, age 18 years. Beloved son of Gary Grant (Diane) and the late Lynn Grant. Loving and devoted brother of Simon Grant, Stephanie Grant and Mackenzie Grant (Yohannes Petros). Josiah will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and numerous friends. Friends may call at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Sunday, April 8, 2012 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and again on Monday April 9, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Passed away peacefully at Nipissing Manor on December 29th, 2020. Beloved wife of Arthur Langford of South River. She is the much loved mother of Kenneth Langford (Danielle) and Joanne Langford. Cherished grandmother of Cody Langford, Beau Langford (Fauve), Desiree Boucher (Andrew), Elizabeth Langford, Ashley Langford, Jessica Langford, Averian Langford and Zoey Langford. Dear great grandmother of Levy.
In Joy's earlier years, she was a member of the Chalmers United Church where she regularly volunteered with Church functions. She was an avid quilter in her spare time. She loved children and was able to babysit her grandchildren on a regular basis when they were young.
Joy was able to stay at home with the help of her family until she took residence at Nipissing Manor.
She was predeceased by her parents Kitchener and Susan Grawbarger, all her siblings, Edwin, Edna, Norma, and Faye. Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will not be a service until Spring. Special thanks to the staff at Nipissing Manor for the care and love shown to Joy.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer's Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Trinity Village, Kitchener at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Mahlon Snyder (2007). Dear mother of Glen Snyder (Marg) of Cambridge, Jane Rumig (Don) of St. Jacobs, Michelle Fangrad (Mark) of Waterloo, Randy Snyder (Jaime), and stepson Rick Lane (Diane) of Kitchener. Cherished grandmother of Donald and Brandon Rumig, and Timothy and Christopher Fangrad, and greatgrandmother of Molly and William Rumig, Tristan Rumig, and Maggie Lane. Will be missed by her sister Ruby Magit, and brother-in-law Don Blum. Joy was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Lydia (Spencer) Sittler, fi ve sisters, and fi ve brothers. Joy was a lifetime member of Calvary United Church, a sports enthusiast, and an avid fan of the Kitchener Rangers. Visitation will be held from 6 - 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, and from 10 - 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Calvary United Church, 48 Hawkesville Rd., St. Jacobs, where the funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Interment in Calvary United Cemetery and a reception will follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Calvary United Church would be appreciated.

Joyce Florence Jane Clark was born on February 20, 1928 in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. She passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Neepawa Hospital at the age of 90 years.
Joyce was predeceased by her first husband Wilburn Cole; second husband Charles Brydges; 2 sons Norman (Margarite) and Donald (Liz).
She is survived by 5 children Gail Ridley, of Glenella, MB; Glen (Kathey) Cole of Orangeville, Ont; Sharron (Orville) Brocheu of Edmonton, AB; Betty (Ben) Wiebe of Austin, MB and Charles (Heather) Brydges Jr, of Plumas, MB; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and numerous adopted grand and great grandchildren..
Joyce was known for her quilts and all her family had at least 1 or 2. She ran a second hand shop on 6th street. She was an accomplished upholsteress, waitress, seamstress (made all our clothes when we were young), built our cupboards and high chairs and could roof your house. She was an excellent cook ? no one left hungry. She enjoyed cooking for Bible Camp and also did some Homecare.
Joyce was a member of the True Blue & Orange Lodge for many years in North Bay, Ont, a member of the Austin Agricultural Museum, helped with Bingo and was well known for her yard sales, baking and coveralls. She loved Halloween and Christmas and always had a huge display of Christmas lights each year.
Thank you to all the Homecare workers and nurses during her illness.

GOODALL, Joyce Phyllis Thain Nee: Burton On Sunday, January 28, 2007, Joyce Goodall passed away being sung into heaven with her family surrounding her bedside. Joyce will be remembered by her loving sons and their families, Rick (Susan) Hulbert and their children, Mary and Michael; Jim (Laurie) Thain of Carstairs and their family, Colleen (Marc) Chalifoux, great-grandchildren, Geoelle and Eva; and Jennifer (Fiance - Thomas Krog); her loving daughter Barb (Doug) Halladay and their family, Sarah, Andrew, Carolynn, and Leonard. She will also be remembered by her two sisters, Barbara Klymchuck and Shirley (Pat) Kirkpatrick and sister-in-law Mary Burton. Joyce had a huge extended family, nieces, nephews and many, many close friends. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Jim Goodall, brother Leonard Burton and brother-in-law Ernie Klymchuck. Joyce Goodall was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; and was a teacher of life. Her teaching career spanned 37 years and wherever she was, her home was always open and everyone was welcome. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810-34 Avenue, Edmonton. RIDGE SPRING: Joyce W. Burger, 84, of Ridge Spring, formerly of Monroe, NY, and Leesville, SC, died December 5, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Sarah Hamner Walton and wife of the late Hans O. Burger. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Batesburg- Leesville Chapter 174 and Hawthorne Ramapo Chapter of Monroe, N.Y., the American Legion Auxiliary, and the VFW Auxiliary. Surviving are four sons, John (Nola) Burger of Ridge Spring, Richard Burger of Batesburg-Leesville, Thomas Burger of Harriman, NY, Peter (Patty) Burger of Newburgh, NY; one daughter, Patti Trudgeon of Taylors; one brother, George Walton of Belton; 12 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 1 p.m. at the Batesburg-Leesville Presbyterian Church with the Reverend David Torrey officiating.
