 | Ken South SOUTH, Ken - It is with great sorrow the family announces the unexpected passing of Ken South at the Sault Area Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the age of 56. Ken will always be loved by his wife Lorraine of 36 years. He will never be forgotten by his loving children Shannon (Steve) and Ryan (Joanie). Proud Papa of Shyanne, Murphy, Pyper and Ryker who loved and adored their Papa. Left to miss his presence are his brothers and sisters Dona, Bill, Bob and Karen. Special friends John Caron and David Hay will dearly miss their friend with whom they shared many great times and adventures. He was a wonderful Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Kenneth Gellately of Coldwater, beloved son of Allan Gellately and Nancee (Jim) Adams. Loving brother of Rod Gellately. Ken will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and all his friends in Sugar Bush. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Saturday December 8, 2018 from 6-9 P.M. The memorial service will be held in the chapel on Sunday afternoon, December 9, 2018 at 2 o’clock. Father of Linda and John Rickert of St. Jacobs, Kenneth and Pamela Sittler of Elmira, Darryl and Wendy Sittler of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., Gary and Sandy Sittler of Wawa, Ont., Debra and George Cescon of Milton, Timothy and Barbara Sittler of RR 1, Elora, Rodney and Jeffrey of Waterloo; grandfather of Jason, Tory and Aimee Rickert, Henning Sittler, Ryan, Meaghan and Ashley Sittler, Jeremy and Krista Sittler and Nicole and Brent Cescon; son of Jacob Sittler and his wife Frances of St. Jacobs; brother of Mary Bergman, Charles and Lillian Sittler and Joan and Don Blum, all of Kitchener, Joy and Mahlon Snyder of St. Jacobs, Lorraine and Don Battley of Peterborough, Clementine and Elmer Hill of RR 1, Waterloo, Anne of Winnipeg and Ruby and Allan Madgett of Trenton.
Predeceased by his mother, Lydia and three brothers, Joseph, Thomas and John.

Mr. Sittler served in the Second World War; was employed at Lackie Brothers Limited and was a member of St. Jacobs Lions Club.
Visitation at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, after 2 p.m. today, until Wednesday morning at 10 a.m., when removal will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs, for funeral service at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Jan Malina officiating.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Diabetes Association, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
