Passed away July 2, 2000 at Temiskaming Hospital, New Liskeard at the age of 87. Survived by one sister, Elenore McMartin, Mattawa and predeceased by seven brothers, Bill, Percy, Bert, Jack, Charlie, David and Eric. Beloved mother of Leonard Allen (Bev), Kenabeek, Ontario and Marry Allen, San Francisco, California. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Theresa Deschamps (Rick), Cathy O'Grady (Kelly), Len Allen (Linda) all of North Bay, and by seven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Perrin's Funeral Home, New Liskeard, Ontario on Wednesday, July 5, 2000. Family members of the late Lillian Allen extend a special thank you to Dr. Pat Logan and all nurses from Intensive Care Unit at Temiskaming Hospital in New Liskeard for their caring and thoughtfulness. We convey our deepest gratitude for the special attention given to our mother and grandmother. Leonard, Mary, Theresa, Cathy, and Len sincerely thank everyone involved with the beautiful luncheon and funeral service held on Wednesday, July 5, 2000.

Peacefully at NSHN-Blind River surrounded by her loving family, age 78. She is reunited with her beloved husband Stanley, her parents Lucien and Beatrice Labbee, her daughters Sheila and Karen, granddaughter Alicia and siblings Sonny Labbee (Diane), Mary Jane Jolin (Norm), Paul Labbee (Dolly), Diane “Pee Wee” Fyfe (Tom) and Ricky Labbee (Carla). Amazing mother of Allan and Angela. Proud Nanny of Adam, Crystal, Trisha, Jennifer, Kassandra and Ava and great Nanny of Carter, Emmit, Auston, Skyla, Conner, C.J., Oliver and George. Devoted sister of Beatrice King (late Lloyd), Germaine Wilkins (Mike), Leo Labbee (Sandra), Vivian White (late Ron), Pauline King (Loren) and Lorraine Beemer (Brent). She will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Lillian worked in the kitchen at NSHN-Blind River for many years. She liked to cook and catered many events in and around the area. Her greatest love was music. She loved to sing and dance, play the spoons and the beer bottles.
She was a kind, and caring lady, known by many for her generosity. She was always ready and willing to help others.
Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed.
The family wishes to thank the hospital staff at NSHN-Blind River for taking good care of her.
A celebration of Lillian’s life will be held at the Blind River Royal Canadian Legion Branch 189 on Monday, August 14, 2023, between 11am and 4pm. All family and friends are welcome.

Mrs. Livingston was born July 23, 1948 at Barre, VT the daughter of the late Phillip and the late Peggy Walters. Linda was a graduate of Arlington High School. Linda was a homemaker and care giver. She lived in Florida for over twenty years and lived locally most of her life. She enjoyed crafts and loved to ride motorcycles. She is survived by her previous husbands, Larry Roosa and Charlie Livingston both of Wallkill New York. Linda is also survived by her brothers and sister; Clayton Walters of Bayard IO, Gisele Emmett and her husband Wayne of LaGrange, Elissa Fishwick and her husband Jeffrey of Stanfordville, Steven Walters of Poughkeepsie and Phillip Dennis Walters of Highland. She also has many nieces and nephews who survive. Calling hours will be held December 21, 2010 from 4pm to 7pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie New York. Loving mother and grandmother to Dean (Melissa), Hayleigh (Simon), Declan and Marta; Scott-deceased (Lysandra), Reagyn and Reyna. Great grandmother to Margot and Aiden. Sister to Pat Sipkes, Betty Christie (Tom), Don Ross (Nancy). Sister-in-law to Bonnie Ross, Jim Rintoul, Ed Rintoul (Frances).
Predeceased by brother Jack Ross, brothers-in-law Pete Sipkes, Gordon Rintoul (Jo-Ann), sisters-in-law Jan and Diane Rintoul.
Linda has spent her life surrounded by friends, laughing and loving and always thought of as family.
Linda started her career in the banking industry with CIBC in Wroxeter until transferring to Stratford. She later worked with Municipal Trust before going back to CIBC until her retirement.
Visitation will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Sunday, September 25, from 1-4 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Avondale Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Rotary Hospice or MPN Canadian Research Foundation through the funeral home.
