With heavy hearts we are deeply saddened by the death of Norman Hazelwood of Arnprior, Ontario on September 26, 2016. He is survived by his children Bruce (Deborah) of Arnprior, ON, Nora (Brenton) Conrad of Fall River, NS, Michael (Wanda) of Ottawa, ON and his 12 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife Frances (August 2016) and daughter Brenda (August 2007). Visitations at the Boyce Funeral Home, Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre, 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and again Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday, October 1, 2016 in the Boyce Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment White Lake Community Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the interment in the Boyce Reception Centre. In memoriams to the Hospice Renfrew or the Arnprior and District and Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by his family.

Friends may pay their respects at the M. O. Edwards Funeral Home, Mattawa. Rev. W. H. Ferrior will officiate at the funeral service Thursday at the 2 p.m., St. Andrew's In the Pines United Church. Interment will take place at the Mattawa Protestant Cemetery.
Mr. McMartin is survived by his wife, the former Eleanor Hazelwood, two sons: Nelson, and Neil; two daughters, Norma and Nancy.

Mrs. Mary A. Lay, aged 80, widow of Carlos Lay, died in this city, Monday afternoon about 1.30 o'clock after an illness of about two week's duration. Mrs. Lay was born in Salem where she resided for years. She came to this city several years ago and had lived at No. 252 West Main street. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Charles Dart of Wallingford and Mrs. Harriet Crocker of New London. There is also a daughter, Mrs. Forrest Leffingwell of Leffingwell and the following grandchildren: Clarence F. Leffingwell of Groton, Miss Edith A. Leffingwell of Saxtons River, Vt., Fred A. Leffingwell of Leffingwell, Miss Gladys Leffingwell of Leffingwell and Mrs. George Sheldon of East Great Plain.

Olive Forster died peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday, April 9, 2022. She was 91 years old. Olive was the beloved mother of David Grawbarger of Powassan and the much-loved sister of Ivan Grawbarger (Marg) of Restoule, Lyall Grawbarger (Arlene) of Sault Ste. Marie and Ella Avery (Brian Colley) of Callander. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Restoule will be announced. If desired, memorial donations to Powassan United Church, where Olive selflessly donated many, many hours, are suggested. GARTON, Olive Isabel (Smith) - Of Guelph and formerly of Listowel, passed away at Lapointe Fisher Nursing Home, on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 1996, in her 81st year.
Survived by daughters, Janet and husband Ron Fallis of RR 3, Listowel, Florence and husband Neil Koch of Listowel, Barbara and husband Martin Bye of Mount Forest, Lorraine and husband Dennis Bristowe of Peterborough, Brenda and husband Clarence Sarvis of Mount Forest, Reta and husband William Deverell of Englehart, Debbie and husband Herb Olliff of Moorefield; sons, John and wife Muriel Garton of Paisley, George and wife Pat Garton of Ariss, Robert and wife Louise Garton of Guelph and Ronald and wife Mary Pat Garton of Guelph; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Florence Johnston of Cambridge, Velma Dowe of Stratford and one brother, Cecil Smith of Waterloo.
Predeceased by her parents, Isabel and Frederick Smith; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; one sister and three brothers.
The family of the late Olive Garton will receive friends at the Kevin E. Brown Funeral Home (McLaughlin "since 1920" & Reed Chapel), 285 Elizabeth St. W., Listowel on Thursday, Sept. 5, 1996 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral and committal services will be held from Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

Dear mother of Beverley (Mrs. Steve Summers), Forest, Ontario; Harold (Rosalyn) Giles, Williams Lake, BC.; David (Diane) Giles, Dorchester, Ontario and Donald (Roxie) Giles, Vancouver, B.C. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother Thomas McKay and by two sisters Laura Baker and Ethel Duncan. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service in the Kerry Chapel on January 19th, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Barry Goodwin officiating. Cremation has taken place. Age 84 years was called home, Saturday, February 23, 2002. Loving wife of the late George Sudds (1999) and beloved mother of Marilyn and husband Fraser, Bev and husband Phil, daughter-in-law Fran and the late Ron Sudds (1999). Gramma Sudds will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and now great grandchildren. Olive leaves behind to mourn a loving extended family (Garton and Sudds). George and Olive made many friends through their Full Gospel Tabernacle Church membership and their fruit and vegetable market located near Cottam. Friends will be received at the Hammond Funeral Home, 318 Erie Street South, Leamington (326- 8423), on Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Visiting on Tuesday, February 26, 2002, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service 11:00 a.m., at the Full Gospel Tabernacle Family Church, 285 Talbot Street East, Leamington.
