 | Recover Bodies In Two Drownings Recover Bodies In Two Drownings
The bodies of two drowning victims, Orest Yakimchuk, 21, of Edmonton, and Marillyn Jean Foster, 12, of Manola, were recovered by RCMP at the weekend, officials said Monday.
Yakimchuk drowned last Wednesday at Seba Beach while skindiving. His body was recovered Monday morning by police dragging crews.
Marillyn was swimming in the Pembina River near her home 50 miles northwest of the city, when she drowned Thursday. Her body was recovered Sunday by police.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Manola Community Hall.

Herbert Hazelwood Has Record of 21 Years' Service in Council

Mattawa, Jan. 11.--Reeve Herbert Hazelwood was elected in Papineau Township for his third term. Previous to his service as reeve, Mr. Hazelwood served eighteen years on the Papineau Council so is well acquainted with municipal affairs, Two of last year's councillors were re-elected, Ephraim Therrien and George Larocque, while the two new members are Felix Guilbeault and John Hazelwood.

(formerly of South River) passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, British Columbia on July 29th, 2020 with his wife and some close family by his side. Reg was raised in Restoule, Ontario, He is the son of the late Carl and Gladys Elliott (nee King). Brother of Ken (Susan), Glen (Glenda) and Ronnie.
Predeceased by his father Carl, his sister Sharon and granddaughter Mackenzie.
Reg leaves behind his wife Kellie. His children Tina, April (Jason),
Blain and Carrie (Gord) and stepchildren Sonya, Lance and Travis.
His grandchildren Caitlynn (Josh), Tabetha, Tyson, Taylor, Abby, Richard, Brandon, Haden, Nathan, Johnny, Christopher, and his great grandchildren Walter and Madison.
As per Reg’s wishes cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Reg’s life will take place at a later date.
