Scott A. Prince, 47, of Carmi passed away at 12:57 a.m., Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born in Carmi on October 18, 1969 the son of Doyle E. and Janice (Faulkner) Prince. Scott married Leslie Ledford on March 23, 1996. He was a 1987 graduate of Carmi Community High School and received his Associates Degree in Automotive from SIC. He operated Prince Lawn Care. Scott loved to be outdoors, bow hunting, crappie fishing, working on cars and going to the drag strip.
Scott is survived by his wife of 21 years, Leslie of Carmi; his father, Doyle Prince of Carmi; a daughter, Alexa Prince of Carmi; a son, Bryce Prince of Carmi; a granddaughter who called him, "Poppop", Charlotte Mason; a brother, Greg (Ellen) Prince of Carrier Mills; a brother-in-law, Daniel (Rachel) Ledford of Carmi; a niece, Katelyn Prince; and a nephew, William Ledford. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Prince on December 25, 2016.
Funeral services for Scott A. Prince, 47, of Carmi will be at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Ditney Ridge Baptist Church in Norris City with Pastor Chris Marsh officiating. Burial will be in Ditney Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at noon at Ditney Ridge Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi to assist with funeral expenses.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Lysandra and his cherished daughters Reagyn and Reyna. Loving son of Don and Linda (Ross) Rintoul. Brother of Dean Rintoul (Melissa). Also survived by his mother-in-law Julie Schnell, father-in-law Milton Love, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Jody (Core) Douglas (Norman), Elise Love, Kurtis Love (Melanie Dow), grandparents Ella Jackson, Walter Love and nieces and nephews Hayleigh, Declan and Marta Rintoul, Jeremy, Jason and Jaclyn Core and Elisha Love-Estell. Scott was predeceased by his grandparents Gibson and Fern Rintoul, Norm and Flo Ross, Frederick Jackson and Margaret Love. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St. Stratford on Saturday, February 25, from 1-4 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. John's United Church, 175 Waterloo Street South, Stratford on Sunday at 2 p.m. with reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to an education fund for his girls (cheques made payable to Young Memorials) or to Canadian Mental Health through the funeral home.

 | Sharon Gardiner GARDINER, Sharon (Ayers) - It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing at the Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Monday August 8th, 2022 after a brief illness at the age of 71.
Sharon was the loving wife to Allan. Proud mother to Whitney (Julie), Jeremy, Ben (April), David (Jennifer). Loving grandmother to Jordan, Mitchell, Danielle, Natalie, Kindrie, Leif, Marek, Sebastian, Gage and Tye. Great-grandmother to Mason and Waylon. She will be lovingly missed by her siblings Bill, Jim, Shirley, Norm and Cheryle.
Family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Road, North Bay on Thursday August 11th from 6 until 8 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter the Apostle church on Friday August 12th at 11 am.
The family wish to extend deep gratitude to the staff in the ICU department at Health Sciences North for their compassionate and dignified care they provide to Sharon. Donations in her memory can be made towards the St. Peter’s building fund or the Gathering Place.
