Predeceased by his parents, Otto (1988) and Geneva (1993) and father-in-law, Bill Barth (2004).  | Allan Ross Craig Allan Ross Craig, a highly respected member of this community passed away June 14 at the Almonte General Hospital after a short illness. He was in his 86th year. Born at Rosetta, Ontario, March 20, 1903, he was the son of the late Adam Craig and Mary Arnott. In 1916 the family moved to the 11th line of Ramsay where he lived until 1968 when he retired from farming and moved to 170 High Street in Almonte. He was united in marriage to Annie May Reid on September 1, 1926, She predeceased him March 10, 1960. In 1962 he married Susan Edith Fleming (Lillie). In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters: Dorothy (Mrs. Lyle Reid) Pakenham; Jean (Mrs. Keith Willows) Balderson; Lois (Mrs. Graham Mowat) Nepean. There are also seven grandchildren, four step-children and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one sister, Elsie (Mrs. J.B. Neilson). Mr. Craig was a dedicated farmer and loved his Clydesdale horses. He was quite devoted to his church where he was a member of the session for 52 years.
