2301 Helen E. Miller, age 94 of Amery, WI passed away peacefully on February 8, 2015 at the Willow Ridge Healthcare Center in Amery.
Helen was born on March 27, 1920 in Terril, IA to Adrian and Mabel Krieger.
She was united in marriage to Paul L. Miller on June 15, 1941 and they made their home in Des Moines for 16 years where their three children were born. In 1954 they moved to Roseville, MN where they lived for 22 years before moving to Lake Wapogasset in 1976. Helen moved to Pondhurst Townhomes in 1989.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; sisters Adelene and Beverly, and son in law, George.
She is survived by her children, Donald (Aurora), Paula and Gina; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Congregational Church, 201 Harriman Ave. N., Amery, WI 54001. A visitation will be held the hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be at the Amery Cemetery.

2302 Helen Elizabeth Davis, long time resident of Edmonds, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at the age of 83. She is survived by her husband Donald and sons, Roy (Linda), Rick (Desha), and Don (Debbie); her grandchildren, Blair, Haley, Krystal, Danielle, Ian, Mollie, Dan, and Andrea; great-grandchildren, Cody, Cameron, and Savannah.
Helen grew up in a large family in Gig Harbor and moved to Edmonds 56 years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mary Shadbolt, and her 10 siblings.
She was an avid bingo player until she suffered a stroke 14 years ago. She was devoted to her family and friends and will be remembered for her quick wit and wry sense of humor.
There will be a celebration of Helen's life at the Edmonds Senior Center on Saturday, October 13th from 2pm to 5pm.

2303 HELEN J. MARSH, 100, of Monmouth Beach, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, at St. Barnabas Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Long Branch. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union and the Women's Auxiliary of Monmouth Beach Fore Company, where she was a charter member and served as president in 1962. She was also a member of the Monmouth Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary and the corresponding secretary of the Sand Piper Senior Citizens. Born in Baltimore, she lived in Plainfield before coming to Monmouth Beach 74 years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert March, in 1965. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, William Marsh of Monmouth Beach, and Howard and veronica Marsh of Waccamow, N.C.; a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Richard Bohnert of Monmouth Beach; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Flock Funeral Home, 243 Broadway, Long Branch. A funeral ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial following at the Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 300 Second Ave., Long Branch, NJ 07740; and Asbury Methodist Church, Long Branch.

2304 Helen M. Dashnaw, 82, of Floyd, passed away at home on March 6, 2021. She was born in Rome on February 26, 1939, a daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Dashnaw.
She is survived by four daughters, Suzanne Palmer and Tracy, Bonnie and Tammy Perham; four sons, Rex, Ralph Jr, Patrick and Phillip Perham; a sister, Joyce Montalbano; a brother, Chuck Dashnaw, Sr.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, Caroline and Kimberly Parham; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 11th at 6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday prior to the service from 4-6:00 p.m.

2328 Herbert Coxford Passes Suddenly At Home Here
The death occurred suddenly on January 22, 1964 of Herbert L. Coxford at Almonte General Hospital at the age of 78. He was born at Blakeney, the youngest son of the late Jas Coxford and his wife Mary Kennedy.
He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Sarah Ila Scott, one son and three daughters namely, Edwin of Winnipeg; (Elizabeth) Mrs. Robert Duncan of Almonte; (Kathleen) Mrs. C.M. Thomson of Cooksville; (Ruth) Mrs. Kenneth Fresque of Ottawa and twelve grandchildren. One brother Thomas of Ottawa and a sister (Janie) Mrs. Charlie Black of Fort William survive. He was predeceased by seven brothers, William and Alfred of Almonte, David and John of Rochester, N.Y. Archie and James of Edmonton and Robert of Estevan and six sisters (Ann) Mrs. W. Barber, (Jessie) Mrs. Robt Barker, (Esther) Mrs B. Forsythe, Mary, (Aggie) Mrs M. Snedden, (Elizabeth) Mrs A. Fulton. Two died in infancy.
Mr Coxford was a faithful member of the Almonte United Church. He was a member of the Session and served on many church boards and committees. For several years he served on the Board of Education and belonged to the Mississippi Curling Club of which he was an ardent curler. in Mr 1960 Mr and Mrs Coxford celebrated their golden wedding.
As a young man he attended Eastern Dairy School, Kingston, Ontario. On leaving Kingston he made cheese and butter at Elm Side, Quebec; Blakeney; 8th line Cheese Factory and with Producer Dairy Ltd., until his retirement some 10 years ago, having spent his entire life in the dairy business.
The funeral, which was largely attended was held on Jan 25th from the Kerry Funeral Home to the Auld Kirk Cemetery. Rev Francois Gerard conducted the service
The pallbearers were Victor Kellough, Norman Paul, Bert Young, Herb Snedden, Harold Robertson and Wilf Snedden.
Many floral tributes and contributions for the heart Fund were received.

2330 Herbert H. Willey Jr., age 86, of Preston, passed away on January 12, 2012 at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich.
He was born on January 22, 1925 in Norwich, CT to the late Herbert and Margaret (Connors) Willey. He married his loving wife Brendalee (Denzel) Willey on December 7, 1989 in Norwich.
Besides his loving wife, Herbert is survived by a son Thomas Willey of Plainfield, sons Hebert Willey III and Jay Willey of North Carolina, a daughter Gail Beauregard and her husband Roy of Preston and a son Antonio Barnhill of Preston. He also leaves behind a brother Robert Willey of New Jersey, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by a son William Gunkel, a granddaughter Jennifer Willey and a brother Richard Willey.
Family and friends may visit Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. immediately following the calling hours.

2331 Herbert L. Treat, 84, died July 5, 1993. He was a native of Mount Pleasant, NJ, and had been a resident of Fort Pierce for 20 years, coming from Auburn, NY.
Mr. Treat was a building supervisor for Cayuga County, N.Y., for 19 years. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of First Baptist Church of White City, where he was active in the church.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Treat of Fort Pierce; three sons, Charles Treat of Fort Pierce, and James Parsons and William Parsons, both of Auburn, NY; one daughter, Mary O`Hara of Fort Pierce; one brother, Clarence Treat of Skaneateles, NY; two sisters, Doris Drake of Lakeland and Ruth Nelson of Iowa City, IA; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church of White City, 903 W Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of White City, with the Rev. John Hancock, pastor, officiating.

2332 Herbert M. Ellsworth, 82, of Portland, died Wednesday, (December 25, 2002) at Middlesex Hospital. The beloved husband of Frances (Banning) Ellsworth, they would have celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on May 19, 2003. Born in Middletown, August 12, 1920, he was the son of McClure E. and Katherine (O'Connell) Ellsworth. Besides his wife, Frances, he is survived by his son, McClure E. Ellsworth and his special companion Linda Kieth of San Antonio, TX; his two daughters, Deborah A. Ellsworth of Framingham, MA, and Sarah E. Perruccio and her husband Gary of Meriden; three grandchildren, Marissa E. Ellsworth of Charleston, SC, Matthew and Mallory Perruccio of Meriden; a great granddaughter, Hannah Pribilski of Charleston, SC; his sister-in-law, Elizabeth P. Ellsworth of Portland; his brother-in-law, Lewis D. Banning and his wife Evelyn of Manchester; many nieces and nephews; and his lifelong friend, Norman P. Hanson of Portland. He was predeceased by two sisters, Pauline Patricia Csere and Laura E. Ackerman; and a brother, Thomas K. Ellsworth.
A lifelong resident of Portland, he was interested in his town's history. He was a charter member of the Portland Historical Society and was elected as the society's first president. He was a member of the Portland Planning and Zoning Commission and served as chairman for five years. He was a director of Buck Library, a member of the Building Committee for the new Portland Library, and a member of the Center Cemetery Board of Directors.
A veteran of World War II, he served overseas in the China, Burma, India Theatre with the 24th Combat Mapping Squad (H) and was a member of the C.B.I. Veteran Association. He was a member of the Carpenter and Joiners Union #24 for 60 years. He was a member of St. Mary Church and Warren Lodge No. 51. Educated in Portland schools, he also attended the University of Connecticut. An avid collector of music from the Big Band era, he carried on an extensive tape correspondence in the United States, as well as with his friend, Stan Nilsen of Grimsby, England.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec 30, 10am at the Portland Memorial Funeral Home, 231 Main St., Portland, and 11am in the Church of St. Mary, Portland. Burial will be in the family plot at Center Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, 3-6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Portland Visiting Nurses Association, 309 Main St., Portland, CT, the Red Cross Transportation Fund, 97 Broad Street, Middletown, CT or the Portland Volunteer Fire Department Emergency Medical Services, PO Box 71, Portland, CT. Monmouth Beach-Herbert Marsh, 62, of 53 Riverdale Ave., died Tuesday at home. He was a retired electrical employe of Camp Evans.
He was born in Plainfield, son of the late Albert and Elizabeth Littlewood Marsh.
He was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church, North Long Branch, and a member and former chief of the Monmouth Beach Fire Co.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen J. Marsh; two sons, William and Howard, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Bohnert, Long Branch; three brothers, Albert and William, both St. Petersburg, Fla., and Robert Miami, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Shaffer, Somerville, and Mrs. Edna Doyle, Malvern, L.I.; and seven grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Flock Funeral Home, Long Branch.

2335 Herman A. (Jack) Jensen was born October 25, 1906, in Ruthven, Iowa. He was the second son of Henry N. Jensen and Anna Christianson Jensen and moved with his family to Emmet County in March 1916. He was educated in Estherville and graduated from Estherville High School in 1927. On November 11, 1930, he was married to Vineta G. Lucas. Their marriage was to last 79 years. They have two daughters, Judith Jensen Shadle and Roxanne Jensen Powers and four grandchildren, Randy Shadle, Susan Shadle Oster, Robin Powers Kinning and Nicole Powers. There are also six great-grandchildren surviving. Herman was predeceased by granddaughter Nicole Powers and his four siblings, Lawrence, Francis, Elmer and Edna (Woodley). Herman was co-founder of Golden Sun Feeds in 1925 with his father and brother Lawrence. During his many years in the feed manufacturing business which terminated in 1971, he served the industry in many ways: director and vice chairman of the American Feed Manufacturers Association for 11 years; member of the Defense Advisory Committee to the Department of Agriculture; founder and director of Iowa Independent Feed Dealers Association; past officer and director of Western Feed and Grain Association, vice president and director of John Morrell & Co. 1960-71; and officer and director and Senior Executive Committee member of Continental Western Industries. His local activities included member of the First Presbyterian Church, former member and director of Holy Family Hospital, past president of Estherville Rotary Club, Estherville Golf and Country Club, member of Masonic Lodge and Estherville Elks Club. He has also been active in many organizations and activities in the Iowa Great Lakes area where he and Mrs. Jensen have resided for the past 34 years. The Jensens enjoyed many winters in Florida before moving back to live full-time on Lake Okoboji. 2336 Herman Richard Smith, age 93 of Seguin, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in Seguin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nay Walden and Ethel Mattie (Mathews) Smith; brother, Nay Oren Smith; sister, Verna Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Banning Smith of Seguin; son, Ken Smith of Santa Anna; daughter, Sandra Smith of Seguin; brothers, Walter Smith of Pineland, Charles Ray Smith of Shelbyville; sisters, Dovie Renfroe of San Augustine, Mildred Scarborough of Lumberton, Lizzie Mae Braniff of San Antonio, Loretta Richards of San Augustine; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Faith Christian Center in Dilley, Texas from 9am to service time. There will be no visitation at the Hurley Funeral Home in Pearsall prior to service. Funeral service will be held at 10am Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Faith Christian Center with interment to follow in the Dilley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Smith, Justin Woodward, Rod Smith, Alex Smith, Jacob Pritchard, and Mason Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Connor Morgan.

Son of the late Gerald and Vera Hill, son-in-law of the late Albert & Mae Holmes. Survived by his 3 sisters; Sheila, Sharon & Carolyn. Predeceased by his brothers; Harold, Harry & Bruce.
Beloved Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Alex worked many years at the Trentonian Newspaper, also at Sovereign Textiles and Carquest. Alex will be sadly missed by his spiritual brothers and sisters from our Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. As per Alex's request there will be no funeral service or memorial. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alex's memory can be made to the Quinte Humane Society." - His loving wife, Gloria Hill.

2339 HILLSDALE - Arbutus Lenore "Boots" Daniels, 84, of Jerome, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility. She was born Oct. 12, 1930 in Tipton to Walter and Dolores (Hardy) Sneary. Boots married John Franklin Daniels on May 29, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1991.
Boots retired from the North Adams-Jerome schools. She was an active member of the Jerome United Methodist Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher, choir member and president of the United Methodist Women. She was a former 4-H leader who enjoyed teaching cake decorating and a former member of the North Adams-Jerome Schools PTA.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary (Tim) Sears and Marilyn (Larry) Gurr, both of Jerome, and Phyllis (Rick) Gordon of Hillsdale; 22 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; twpo great great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donna (Jack) Daniels and Bonnie (Dave) Phillips, both of Jerome; and son-in-law, Steve (Dawn) McPeek of North Adams.
In addition to her husband, John, Boots was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Joanne McPeek; and brother, Walter Sneary.
Funeral services for Arbutus "Boots" Daniels will be Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale, with Pastor Tim Puckett officiating. Interment will follow at Aldrich Cemetery in Jerome. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Jerome United Methodist Church.
