3504 McKEE, Ivan Robert - Ivan McKee passed away peacefully at Lady Isabelle Nursing Home, Trout Creek on Friday, February 10, 2006 in his 77th year. Ivan McKee, formerly of Bear Valley, was predeceased by his parents Dorothy Alice (Hamilton) and Robert Robertson McKee. He was the loving brother of Barbara McKee of Trout Creek and Judy Charlebois (Elie) of Midland. Ivan was the dear uncle of Mike McKee of Bear Valley, Glenna King of Sudbury, Katherine Ardron of Toronto, Collen Murray of Kitchener, and great uncle to Lindsay, Jordanna, Benjamin, Brittany, Kerry, David, Joshua, Diane, Jonathon, Erica and Darren. Friends and relatives may pay their final respects at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan today, February 13th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday at 11 am in the Paul Funeral Home Chapel. The family announces with sorrow his peaceful passing while surrounded by loving family on February 7, 2023 at Extendicare, Timmins at the age of 83. Devoted husband of Vivian for 56 years, and loving father of Donna Pearson, Wayne McKee and Barbara McKee.
Proud grandfather of Brittney (Shawn) Waters, Jenna (Tyler) Witty, Lauren (Jack) Denommee, the late Jessica Fortier, and great-grandfather to Johnathan, Kelsey, Betty, Finn, Hayden, Hayley, Aden, Jacob, and Jackson.
Born in Restoule, he is predeceased by parents, James Alvin and Mary Jane ?Jennie? McKee. After his family relocated to Hamilton, Ontario, Ranald began his long and varied truck driving career. It was there that he met and married his beloved Vivian. Together, they eventually made their way to Northern Ontario, settling in Thornloe, where they raised their three children. Ranald continued his career as a truck driver there, working for Eplett?s Dairy at first, and then for Grant Transport/Miller Paving until his retirement. Although he was a hard worker and loved his job, God and family came first.
In his free time, he enjoyed travelling and visiting with family and friends, working on his hobby farm, cutting, splitting and piling many cords of wood, swimming, and playing aggravation. He had a great sense of humor, and could strike up a conversation with anyone anywhere. Ranald was a humble, honest, principled, and God-fearing man, daily reading his Bible, and faithfully striving to follow the teachings of Jesus. He will be remembered as a man of integrity, and a pillar to many. We will forever cherish the time spent with Ranald, and his presence will be sorely missed by all those fortunate enough to have known him.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Extendicare, Timmins, for their exceptional kindness and support during his last months there.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative ? Perrin Chapel (128 Whitewood Ave. New Liskeard, ON). On Tuesday, February 12, at Almonte Country Haven, Delmar passed away peacefully at 91 years of age. He was predeceased by his loving wife Ruth Beane (2003) and an infant daughter, Grace (1959). He is lovingly remembered by daughter, Cheryl (David) Liston and sons Robert (Diane) and Bryan McKirdy. He loved and was loved by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Wm and Catherine McKirdy; two brothers, Willard and Edwin; three sisters, Muriel McKirdy, Lauretta Rhodey and Eunice Noland. 3515 McNEILL, Patrick Joseph On April 3, 2007, Patrick Joseph McNeill of Edmonton passed away at the age of 74 years at home surrounded by his family. Pat is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Joan; five children, Greg (Connie), Marlene (Dale) Amundson, Bernie (Pam), Jody (Susan), and Tammy (John) Kupilik; grandchildren, Cameron, Kirsten, Alexis, Dean, Darin, Jeff, Megan, David, Mark, Ashley, Trisha, Scott, Nicole, Taylor, Austin, Jaelyn; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Keenan and Allison. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews; other relatives, friends and little Maggie. Born in Brandon, Manitoba in 1933, Pat moved his family to Victoria, B.C. in the mid 1950's after he joined the PPCLI. In 1963, the family moved to Edmonton where Pat worked in several different occupations until deciding to become a Journeyman Plumber. Pat was interested in all kinds of sports especially Hockey where he excelled as a youth and later passed his knowledge and skills on to his sons and daughters and other young people he coached over several years in the Knights of Columbus Hockey organization. Most recently Pat was an avid fan of the game, watching his grandchildren develop their skills in a game he loved so much. We know that Pat will be playing on the hockey team coached by the Lord and he'll be at peace where he plays now, forever. Prayers will be held at 8:00 p.m., on Friday, April 6th at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 7508-29 Avenue, Edmonton. 3519 MEDWAY - Dorothy L. (Curtis) Anthony, 86, of Medway, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the Medway Country Manor.
She was the wife of Charles E. Anthony, who died in 2001.
Born in Yalesville, Conn., daughter of the late Oscar and Adie (Huntoon) Curtis, she was raised in Wrentham and had lived in Medway since 1946.
Mrs. Anthony had been a school crossing guard in Medway for 38 years. She was a member and past president of the Medway VFW Ladies Auxiliary and did much volunteer work for that organization.
She leaves a son, Edward A. Anthony of Spring Hill, Fla. and a daughter, Priscilla Smith of Medway; her sister, Vivian Stearns of Willimantic, Conn.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was scheduled to be held Wednesday, May 9, from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St., Medway, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, Village Street, Medway, and burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.

3522 Melvin ?Cappy? Chappell, 83, of Salem, passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2017. Born in Waterford on October 30, 1933, he was a son of the late Elmer and Elsie (Maynard) Chappell. He was a loving and devoted husband to Juanita Jean (Yaworski) Chappell who predeceased him in 2016. Melvin lived his entire life in Salem as a herdsman, raising his four children. His favorite past time and hobby was pulling his prize winning oxen teams throughout Connecticut and New England agriculture fairs with his wife, Juanita , where Cappy made lifelong friendships. He is survived by his daughters, Opal Chappell, and Hope Morgrage; his son, Kenneth Chappell; 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; three sisters, June Roseland, Shirley Chappell and Linda Walker; one brother, Herbert Chappell; and numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family. He was predeceased by his wife Juanita Jean Chappell; his son, Kevin; his brothers, Walter Chappell and Arnold Chappell Sr.; his sister, Louise (Chappell) Caton; and his great grandson, Jace. Graveside services will be observed 11 AM Saturday (Aug. 12th) directly at the Comstock Cemetery, Peter Ave., Montville. There are no calling hours. 3523 Melvin Gene Blonde, 85, of Litchfield Township, passed away Sunday (11-03-2013) at the Hillsdale Community Health Center. He was born March 1, 1928 in Litchfield Township, MI to Gerald and Irene (Wilcox) Blonde and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1947. Gene was a self-employed truck driver and was employed by Simpson Industries for 30 years. He was also a farmer and raised spotted hogs. He was active in the 4-H swine barn at the Hillsdale County Fair for 25 years. He also belonged to the I.O.O.F. and coached Little League ball teams for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia (Minar) Blonde, whom he married December 24, 1949;
2 sons, Craig (Allison) Blonde of Homer; Kevin Blonde of Litchfield; 1 sister, Joan Kahle of Portage; grandchildren, Lisa (Dennis) Hart of Fort Wayne IN; Evan Blonde of Homer; and step-great-granddaughter, Shannon Brennan. Gene was preceded in death by his daughter (Carron Houchen), and brothers (Charles, Marion, and Robert Blonde).
Visitation is scheduled Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel, Litchfield. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 1:00 PM, at the Litchfield United Methodist Church with Reverends Julie Yoder Elmore and Clyde Wonders officiating. 3525 MELVYN SPRATT Melvyn Spratt died December 21, 2001 after a weeks stay at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. He had celebrated his 95th birthday November 25, 2001. Mel was born at Elgin, MB in 1906. He farmed with his father and took an active part in community affairs playing baseball and hockey. He enjoyed grooming and driving his horses. Mel met his wife Eleanor Sloan when she moved from Winnipeg to Elgin to teach school. She and Mel were married and raised a son and three daughters. When the children finished their education, they moved to Brandon. Mel worked at Lee Implements, Brandon Hardware and Box Brothers Hardware on 10th Street. He made many friends during these years at work. He appreciated the gifts that Mother Nature provided - growing a garden, caring for his flowers and fruit trees and feeding the wild birds. Mel always had a dog. He made sure the dogs were trained and obedient. He will be remembered for the love he had for Bear - his last little dog, whose ashes were buried with him. Mel was very proud of his family and kept in touch with each one of them. They, in turn, loved Dad, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa. He had many nieces and nephews. There was always a car in his driveway. Mel lived life to the fullest and, as he aged, he accepted the limitations of his activities. He was a wonderful father, neighbour and friend who will be very much missed. Mel is survived by his children, Bud (Marj) of Portage, Donna (Wilbie) of Inglis, Ruby (Jack) of Ottawa and Joan (Pat) of Edmonton and their children. He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor; his brothers, George who was killed in the Second World War, and Willard; and his sisters, Pearl, Ruby, Kathleen and Nettie. Funeral service was held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel on Wednesday, January 2, 2002 with Rev. John van Vliet officiating. Interment followed in Elgin Cemetery. 3527 Memorial services for Edel Kornelia Gabrielson, 635 S. Gamine Real, died Tuesday following a lengthy illness. A native of Norway, Mrs. Gabrielson had lived in Palm Springs for 25 years. She made her home at 635 S. Camino Real. Survivors are her daughter, Dawn Atkinson of Grants Pass, Ore.; two sisters, Gertrude Wiesick and Helen Gabrielson, both of Palm Springs; and one grandson, Barrett Scott Atkinson, also of Grants Pass. The Rev. John Heferlin, pastor of the Church of Religious Science, officiated at the service. Cremation followed. Wiefels and Son handled arrangements. 3528 Memorial services for William Prindle Mooney, 94, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church in Hemet. He died Feb. 7 of lung failure at The Village Health Care Center in Hemet.
Cremation arrangements were handled by McWane Family Funeral Home in Hemet. Mr. Mooney, who was born in Duluth, Minn., lived in Hemet for 26 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I. He was treasurer for DuPont Chemical Corp. for 22 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his son, Richard L. of Culver City, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

3540 Mercedes Stotts Munro, 96, of Rex Nursing Care Center of Apex, N.C., died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005. Formally of Kalispell, she was born Dec. 18, 1908, in Hoisington, Kan., to the late William Arthur Stotts and Artybell Johnston Stotts.
Mercedes was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas McIlraith Munro; and her brother, Morgan Stotts.
Mrs. Munro is survived by two daughters, Mary Esther Stiles of Dallas, and her husband, William E. Stiles, and Deva Jean Buttram of Raleigh, N.C., and her husband, E. Lloyd Buttram; sister, Starling Stotts Hay, of Marshall, Texas; and her brother, Charles Emmons, of Albuquerque, N.M.; six grandchildren, Roy Thomas Stiles, Jay Munro Stiles, Morgan Edward Stiles, Ford William Stiles, Christine Buttram Miller and Thomas August Buttram; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family would like to acknowledge with deepest gratitude the staff of Rex Nursing Care Center of Apex for their excellent care over the past five years and a special thanks to Hospice of Wake County.
A private inurnment will take place in Florida at a later date.

3541 MERIDEN - Barbara H. Beall, 76, wife of David M. Beall, died on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at MidState Medical Center.
Born in Williamstown, Mass. on Sept. 1, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Leona Warner. She had resided in Meriden since 1958. Mrs. Beall graduated Drury High School in No. Adams, Mass. and attended Pittsfield General Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Beall was last employed at Curtis Home and was a volunteer with the American Cancer Society.
Besides her husband, David, she is survived by two daughters, Karen Beall of Wadsworth, Ohio and Donna M. Walters of Daytona Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, Timothy P. Schnick and his wife, Angie of Wadsworth, Ohio, Jennifer Schnick of Meriden, Shannon R. Piatek and her husband, Josh of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Thomas M. Walters of Daytona Beach, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Makayla and Abigail; a sister, Lorna Valotta of No. Adams, Mass.; a brother, Loren Warner of Atlanta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Jan 2, 2008, at 8 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.

3542 MERIDIAN - Douglas Gayle Halpin, 45 of Meridian, formerly of Idaho Falls, died April 5, 2008, at his home in Meridian.
He was born Jan. 28, 1963, to Richard and Iona Halpin. He spent his early life in Idaho Falls, graduating from Idaho Falls High School in 1981. He then attended Boise State University until 1983.
On Oct. 18, 1986, he married Jacquelyn Haight in Idaho Falls.
He lived in Idaho Falls, working at Halpin's Dairy Supply until 1988, when he moved to Meridian, Idaho, to help establish the new Halpin's Dairy Supply. He also worked at the Les Bois Racetrack and the Western Idaho Fairgrounds for the last few years.
Doug enjoyed all activities with his family including playing board games, video games, and going to movies with his sons. He was a friend to all and would go out of his way to help family, friends and neighbors.
He is survived by sons, Christopher Halpin and Timothy Halpin, both of Pocatello; mother, Iona Halpin, of Idaho Falls; sisters, Linda (Marvin) Hanson of West Valley, Utah, and Janet Surrusco of Idaho Falls; brothers, Curtis (Leslie) Halpin of Nampa, Bradley Halpin and Richard Halpin II, both of Idaho Falls; and 12 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Halpin, niece, Amy Halpin, and nephew, J.C. Surrusco.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 14 at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls, with Deacon Rick Bonney officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the funeral on Monday. Burial will be at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls.

3543 Merklee Lewis, age 88, died Monday, May 18, 2009. He was born November 2, 1920 in Bath, NY, the son of Chester and Eva Lewis. He attended Haverling High School. He was a self-employed farmer all of his life in the Prattsburg area. He was a loving father and a good friend to a great many people.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda (Darrell) Rice of Avoca, NY; two sons, Dale (Karen) Lewis of Waterloo, NY and Douglas (Hazel) Lewis of Penn Yan, NY; grandchildren, Wayne and Kamale Rice, Annisa Dieter, Stephen and Sabrina Lewis; brother, Erwin Lewis of Bath, NY; and sister, Betty (Jerry) Ballou of Houston, Texas.
Calling Hours are being observed Friday, May 22, 2009 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the Bond-Davis Funeral Home of Bath. Funeral Service will be held at the conclusion of Calling Hours at 7:00 PM. Tony Yacuzzo officiating.
