CHOLLAR, Dorothy "Babe" 82 yrs old of Galena and formerly of Dayton, Ohio died at home on Nov. 22, 2001. Dorothy was born on Mar. 10, 1919 at Akron, Ohio the daughter of Roy & Sara Watson Daum. Survived by two daughters: Sally Si (Larry) Priske of Galena, IL and Susan & (Don) Brinkman of Akron, OH and by three grandchildren; Amy Priske of Galena and Chris & Scott Brinkman of Akron, OH and by two great grandchildren, Preston and Eva Brink-man of Akron, and a niece: Jane Lieber of Ohio and by two stepchildren: Susan Chollar & Cathy McMahon and her favorite pet Tucker the Cat. Preceded in death by her parents and a sister Jane McWilliams and by her husbands: Art Carley, Robert Leingang and Jack Chollar. Dorothy found such delight even in the smallest things. She had such a love of life and her friends. She will be terribly missed by her family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 25th 2001 at 3 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church in Galena with Father Bob North officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date. CHURCH, W.W. (BILL) - 1935-2014 - Bill passed away peacefully Oct 10th in Penticton, B.C. He is survived by his wife Carol (Mitchell); sisters Frances (Walker) Calgary, Marie (Urquhart) Pugwash. He was the son of the late Wallace and Claire (Trider) Church of Halifax. He was predeceased by his first wife Vera (Munro), daughter Catherine Ann, brother Lewis, and sister Dorothy. Surviving also are three stepsons, one step-daughter, several nieces and nephews. His remains have been cremated.

Educated at Hemmingford Model School; McGill Normal; Albert College, Belleville; Kingston Collegiate. Is a bachelor of arts of Queen's University, and graduated with final honours in philosophy. Taught school at Covey Hill and Quyon, Quebec. Entered Queen's University, 1910; graduated, 1914. Came to Saskatchewan and taught at Plain view. Came to Moosomin, 1915; principal Public School, and was appointed principal collegiate, where he continues as head master. Under his careful direction a greater number of students are turning their attention to higher education. The Moosomin Collegiate is now represented by students in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta Universities. It was under Mr. Churchill's organization that the first rural Y.M.C.A. in Saskatchewan was organized, linking up the towns of Welwyn, Rocanville, Wapella and Broadview, a splendid work terminated by financial conditions of the crop failure, which Mr. Churchill hopes to resume at an early date. CIOTTI, E. Barney, 82, of Naples, FL., died December 18, 2010 at his residence after being diagnosed with a brain tumor two months ago.
He had been a resident of Naples since 1990 coming from Indianapolis, IN.
Born on July 9, 1928 in Weirton, WV, he was a son of the late Sirio and Jenny (nee Principini) Ciotti. After high school, Barney attended Indiana University and was recalled to the Marine Corps to serve in Korea. After the war, he went back to IU and graduated in 1956 with his Bachelors of Science in Business.
He went on to work for Inland Container Corporation in Indianapolis, IN for 30 years retiring in 1992.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sue L. Ciotti of Naples, FL; daughter, Mary C. Ciotti of Sacramento, CA; son, Robert B. (Sophia) Ciotti of Santa Cruz, CA; two step-daughters, Nancy (John) Kerns of Naples, FL and Karen H. Hopkins of Indianapolis, IN; step-son, Timothy B. Hopkins of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Cookie Vucich of Weirton, WV and four grandchildren, Mia and Neo Ciotti and Hunter and Zachary Hopkins.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jane (nee Robertson) Ciotti and his brother, Henry Ciotti.
A Celebration of his Life will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 5 p.m. at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home 28300 So. Tamiami Tr., Bonita Springs with the Rev. Dr. Bob Wallace, officiating.

Claire L. (Phelps) Bullis, 85, beloved wife of Neil K. Bullis, died Monday, February 13, 2017, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her family.
Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Eveleen (Colclough) Phelps. She received her education in the Lynn school system and graduated from Lynn English High School.
As a young woman, Mrs. Bullis was employed as a bookkeeper for Lynn Gas Company and Ernie?s Service Station in Peabody.
A resident of Wenham for the past 45 years, Mrs. Bullis was an avid reader and was accomplished at crocheting, knitting and needlepoint. Claire and her husband enjoyed doing puzzles together as well as camping and traveling across the country as they toured the U.S. and Canada. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage, she is survived by three daughters, Susan L. Cassidy and her husband, John of Georgetown, Cynthia Rubenfeld and her husband, Louis of Newbury and Cheryl Gauthier and her husband, Mark of Lynn; one son, Neil K. Bullis, Jr. and his wife, Mary Ann of Hudson; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many longtime relatives and friends. She was also the sister of the late Ernest Phelps, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, February 19, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Swampscott Cemetery. Claire Shorter 1928 2008 Claire passed away Wednesday, June 18th, 2008. He was born in Meskanaw, SK. He is survived by his wife, Marie Shorter; sons, Jack Shorter, Terry Shorter and Gerald Shorter; daughters, Shelly Cantafio (Tom) and Laurie Shorter ( Aime Lepage); 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Claire was predeceased by his mother, Iva; father, George; brothers, Lionel (Lorraine) and Murly. Claire loved to Camp, fish and especially to hunt. He also enjoyed curling. Clara R. Sebring BRISTOL, Va. Clara R. Sebring, age 88, of Bristol, Va., formerly of Tecumseh, Mich., passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her family. Clara was born March 12, 1926, in Holloway, Mich., to the late Raynor and Arlene Coller Kerr. She was raised in the Macon, Mich., area and graduated from the Edison Institute, established by Henry Ford. She later became a bookkeeper for the "Bug's and Harry's" service station in Tecumseh, where she met her husband-to-be, Mahlon Sebring. After her marriage to Mahlon on Feb. 16, 1946, following World War II, Clara became the bookkeeper for the Standard Oil service stations she and Mahlon operated in Tecumseh. In later years, she worked as the bookkeeper for Lenawee Fuels in Tecumseh. Clara enjoyed sewing and knitting, playing cards, working crossword puzzles, and baking incredibly delicious Lebkuchen cookies at Christmas time. She loved traveling, and entertaining visitors and guests at her home. Clara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who took much delight in all family gatherings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Opal Dickinson. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Mahlon Sebring of Bristol, Va.; one daughter, Carolyn George and husband, Ronald, of Lansing, Mich.; two sons, Greg Sebring and wife, Diane of Tecumseh, and Eric Sebring and wife, Tracy, of Christiansburg, Va.; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Clarence Bangle, 99, Elwood, died Thursday at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital.
Born Nov. 26, 1898 in Tipton County, he was the son of George and Laura J. Clark Bangle.
He married Viola Sherman, Aug 20, 1943. She died in December 1959. He married Grace Huntzinger in June 1962 and she died in August 1964. He married Edith Runyan. She died in December 1983.
He retired from Delco Remy and was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include two sisters, Esther Deem of Campaign, Ill. and Mary Turner of Anderson; a brother John H. Bangle of Elwood; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wives; a son Arthur Perry; a daughter Nora G. Mull; four brothers, Cass Bangle, Charles Bangle, Perry Bangle and Donald Bangle; and four sisters, Rosa Crull, Pauline Truex, Ethel Williams and Katherine McCord.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Copher & Fesler Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynette Sumpter officiating. Burial will be in the Elwood City Cemetery.

Clarence F. Fick, age 91, of Linn, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. Clarence was born August 25, 1918, in Rich Fountain, a son to the late Herman and Mary (Klebba) Fick. He attended grade school at Sacred Heart in Rich Fountain and high school at Conception Abbey in Concordia. He received his Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in 1939. Clarence enlisted in the Navy in 1942. On November 20, 1946, Clarence was united in marriage to Eileen Atkins in Halethorpe, Maryland. She survives of the home. Clarence and Eileen then moved to Jefferson City where he went to work as a bank examiner for the State of Missouri. In 1950, they moved to St. Louis, where Clarence took a position at the Baden Bank as a teller, working his way up to cashier. In 1968, he left St. Louis and moved to Linn to work at the Linn State Bank, rising to the position of Executive Vice President. At the time of his death, Clarence also held the title of Vice Chairman of the Board of the Bank. Clarence was a member of the Linn Lions Club and a founding member of the Osage Country Club. He was a member of the Missouri Bankers Association, the American Bankers Association and a member of the St. George Church, serving on the Parish Council. Clarence enjoyed playing golf and was an avid card player. In addition to his wife, survivors include two children, Robert and his wife Joyceanne Fick of Kuna, Idaho, and Barbara Fick of Mishawaka, Indiana; a sister-in-law, Jeanette Fick of Jefferson City; three nieces and one nephew. Clarence was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard, Jerome and Gerard Fick. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2010, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Fr. I.C. Medina as the celebrant. Mr. Cheesman was born Jan. 8, 1902, at Lebanon, Smith County, Kansas, and had lived in the Leonardville community for many years. He was a retired federal Civil Service employee.
Clarence married Lena May Mullen on Nov. 29 1922 at Alma, Harlan County, Nebraska. Lena, died March 19 of this year.
Surviving are two sons, Joe, of California, and Gene, Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Coral O'Neill, Manhattan (Kansas); eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Clark, Jr. Stella was born in Ivoryton on Feb. 19, 1919, daughter of the late Bronislaw and Camelia (Gutowski) Wineski. She was a lifelong resident of Ivoryton and belonged to Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Essex. Before retirement, she worked for Blue Ray in Centerbrook and Pratt Read in Ivoryton. Besides her husband, Stella is survived by her three sisters, Henriette Manikas of Norwalk, Edith Milardo and Catherine Wind, both of Ivoryton; a niece and two nephews. Clement "Clem" M. Poort, age 84, passed away Monday, April 18. He was born March 9, 1932 in Muskegon to Teresa and Cornelius Poort. He graduated from Muskegon High in 1950 and married Iris Leak. Clem retired after 44 years from American Coil Springs in 1994. He was an avid sports enthusiast. He played football for the Muskegon Big Reds and was a member of the Leather Helmet Club. Clem also played BlackHawks football, hockey, basketball, and baseball for American Coil Springs. Later in life, he enjoyed boating at his cottage on Long Lake near Traverse City with his children and grandchildren, and playing cards with his family. Clem is survived by Iris Poort and his 5 daughters, Linda (Steve) Thaler, Jan Poort, Lori (Marv) Hughey, Joyce (Dan) Emory, and Julie (Brian) Rakowski; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. CLINTON E. SNEARY, age 73 of Jerome, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014, at his home.
He was born on December 31, 1940, in Saline, Michigan to Edward B. and Doris P. (Gilbert) Sneary. He married Joann R. Robinson on April 27, 1963, in Tecumseh. Clinton lived his early life in Tipton- Onsted-Tecumseh area, before moving to Jerome in 1968. He graduated from Onsted High School in 1960. He was employed at General Products in Jackson, retiring in 2006. Clinton was a founding and former member of the Somerset Fire Department since it began in 1977. He served as Assistant Chief for several years and was a Life Time member of the Somerset Fire Department. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. of Jerome, member of the Inter-Lakes Lions Club and was a Trustee of Somerset Township.
Surviving beside his wife Joann, is one son; Richard E. Sneary of Jackson, one daughter; Michelle I. (Michael) Beach of Pittsford, two grandchildren, Brandon Beach, Bradley Beach and his fiancée Braily Lee, one brother; David (Kay) Sneary of Blissfield, three sisters; Pearl Griewahn of Adrian, Sheila Baty of Summertown, Tennessee, Diana (Ted) Szczensy of Addison, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Addison, with Pastor David Luke officiating. Esther was employed at the Willett Hospital in Paris for 36 years in with Dietary Services.
Beloved sister to Beryl Cobb of Hamilton, Fred and Philip Cobb both of Powassan, Frank Cobb of Washago, and Jim Cobb of Calander. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her siblings Hazel Byers, Margaret Cobb, Richard Cobb, Rose Birt and Lily Cobb.

COBB, Lila "Mae" - Mae Cobb died peacefully on January 30, 2014 at Parkview Home, Stouffville. She was in her 74th year. Mae was the beloved mother of Roy Cobb (Cindy) of Salt Springs, NB, Albert Cobb (Gwen) of Powassan, Martha Wilton of Beeton, the late Grace Cobb and the late Stanley Cobb. She will be lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mae was the dear sister of Herret Titus (Ruth) of London and the late Margot Titus. The Cobb family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME , Powassan, on Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will take place in the Paul Funeral Home chapel on Monday, February 3 at 11:00 am. Spring interment Powassan Union Cemetery.
