  Honour Thoms on 25th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thom, Ramsay, were pleasantly surprised when friends and neighbours gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Thompson, to honour them on the occasion of their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Mr. Gordon Thom, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Thom, and Kathaleen Munroe, daughter of the late Mr. David Munroe and Mrs. Munroe of Clayton, were united in marriage at Zion United Church manse, by Rev. Kelloway on June 30th 1943. Mr. Norman Paul read a very appropriate address, and on behalf of the friends and neighbours the couple were presented with some useful gifts along with best wishes and congratulations on this happy occasion. After an enjoyable social evening a delicious lunch was served complete with anniversary wedding cake.
