  OBITUARY JACOB PRICE The Lanark Era Wed. Dec. 21, 1927 Ramsay Twp. Sun. Dec. 18, 1927, Jacob Price of Galbraith. He was in his 79th year and was the son of the late Ira Price and Margaret Prettie and was born in Darling Twp. He was married to Esther Munroe of Darling, who predeceased him seven years ago. He leaves three sisters and one brother; Annie (Mrs. Albert Vardy) in Alberta; Margaret (Mrs. Foster) of Kingston; Maria of Picton; Alex. of Brancroft and Ira in Alberta. There are also his seven daughters and three sons; Maggie (Mrs. Rutherford) Unity SK; Lizzie (Mrs. Lambe) Winnipeg; Mary (Mrs. Thomas Sise) of McDonald's Corners; Marion (Mrs. Stewart Gunn) of Tatlock; Alice (Mrs. Milton McKay) and Jean (Mrs. Ernest Foste) of Clayton; Lila (Mrs. Alex Munro) of Almonte; Jacob and Ira of Saskatchewan; Thomas on the homestead at Clayton. Two children died in infancy and Esther died in Winnipeg in 1905; while Hugh died 14 years ago. Burial in Clayton Cemetery.
