Passed away peacefully at Muskoka Shores Nursing Home in Gravenhurst on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Joan Rosamond Hazelwood in her 85th year. Daughter of the late John and Mabel Hazelwood. Step daughter to Violet Hazelwood of Gravenhurst. Joan is survived by her sister Alice Wilson (Ronald) of Bellmont. Predeceased by her brother John Hazelwood In 1986. Beloved aunt to Gloria Hillier (Gary) of London, Ont., Perry Wilson (Mirjam) of Scarborough, Colleen Flynn (Keith) of Waterloo and Bradley Wilson (Dianne) of Guelph. Great aunt to seven great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Cavill ~ Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 7 ~ 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 10:30 a. m. Interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Mattawa at 2:30 p. m. graveside. In memory of Joan, donations to the Missionary Ventures Canada, 336 Speedvale Avenue West, Unit L, Guelph, Ontario N1H 7M7 would be appreciated.
