McCONNELL, Truman J. (Veteran World War II) - At the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Thursday, October 23, 1997, after a long illness. Truman, beloved husband of Bertha, loving father of Susan and her husband Daryl Bedard; the late Donald Kenneth and Brenda Lee. Dear grandfather of Holly, Ross and great- -grandson Cole: Adopted grandfather of Tia and Renee. Special friend of Dianna, dear brother of Gertie and husband Norm, Mary, Mabel, Manson and the late Queenie, Agnes, Eva Susan. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 264 Burton Avenue, Barrie, Ontario today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Complete service in the chapel Sunday at 2 p.m. Family interment a Barrie Union Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Royal Victoria Hospital, VON, or Burton United Church would be appreciated.
