McCONNELL, Margaret Emily Mary - The Funeral Service for the late Margaret McConnell was conducted by Mr. Allan Berg on Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at Powassan Kingdom Hall. Casket bearers for Mrs. McConnell were Mack Ferguson, Bill, Brian and Ian Fryer and Steven and Randy Hoban. Interment place at Powassan Union Cemetery. Mrs. McConnell died peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan on Thursday, August 21, 2003 in her 93rd year. Margaret (Fryer) is survived by her daughter Phyllis Hoban of Sydney, Nova Scotia; by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Kathleen Garrett, Scarborough and was predeceased by her sister Jean Cook and brothers Norman and Alfred Fryer. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the PAUL FUNERAL HOME in Powassan.
