- KING, Edna D. - Passed away peacefully, at Trinity Village on Monday, January 15, 2007 at the age of 73. Loving mother of Brenda (Freeman) Thistle of Clarkshead, Newfoundland, Brian (Bonnie) Laderoute of Kitchener, Gayle (Wayne) Bossenberry of Val Des Monts, Quebec, Lorrie (Allen) Gambert of Palm Harbour, Florida. Cherished grandma of Lance (Robin), Lisa, Heidi (Chris), Rob, Henry (Laura), Matt (Lorrie), Melissa, Tawny, Noah (Laura) and Luke. Dear sister of Bernice (Ben) Lariviere of Hanmer, Ontario and sister-in-law of Ruth King (Jerry) and Eileen Jacky (Lloyd), all of Kitchener. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Henry and Rose King; her grandson, Spiro and brothers, Harold, Bobby, Bill and Wilbert. Edna was a long standing member of the Kipling Helping Hand. She was also very proud to have dedicated many years as a Health Care Provider in our community for the Canadian Red Cross Society. Edna's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 today (Wednesday) from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service for Edna will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Joanne Peppler officiating. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Red Cross Society would be appreciated by the family.
