- McKAY, Allan Louis James Peacefully in hospital at Almonte on Saturday, February 14, 2004. Allan McKay of Clayton in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Laura Barr and the late Lena Rhodey. Dearly loved father of Mrs. Ruth Foster (late Carl) of Almonte and Ronald of Clayton. Predeceased by an infant daughter Lillian Ethel; his sister Mrs. Marion Blanchard and his brother Elvin McKay. Also survived by grandchildren, Gail Giles (Allen), Duane (Cheryle), Randy and their mother Carole and by 2 great-grandchildren, Marcie and Murray. Friends may call at the C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 127 Church Street, Almonte for visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and where Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Spring interment Clayton United Cemetery. Donations in memory of Allan may be made to the Almonte General Hospital, Fairview Manor Foundation and would be most appreciated by his family.
