  Notes	Gunn - Price (11 September 1918) A very quiet, but pretty wedding was solemnized last Wednesday, Sept. 11th, at 3 o'clock p.m., at the home of the bride's father, Mr. Jacob Price, Galbraith, when his daughter, Miss Marion (Price), was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr. Stewart Gunn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Gunn, of Tatlock, Rev. Mr. Merrilees officiating. The bride entered the parlor, leaning on the arm of her father, to the strains of the wedding march played by Miss Gladys Middleton and was becomingly attired in a gown of white Hirashiki silk and georgette crepe and wore a veil caught up with orange blossoms. After the signing of the register all sat down to a dainty repast, at which a few of the near relatives were present. The bride received numerous cheques, including a very substantial one from the groom. They left for their home in Tatlock the same evening, the bride traveling in a suit of taupe silk poplin. They were followed by the good wishes of a host of friends for a long and happy wedded life.

  Luella Cumming (nee Gunn) a resident of Winchester passed away peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Wed., Aug. 12, 2009, in her 86th year. She was the daughter of the late Stewart and Marion Gunn. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon, and by her brother Raymond and sister Aileen. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends paid their respects at the Daniels Funeral Chapels in Winchester on Sat., Aug. 15, with the funeral service held in the chapel following the visitation. Pallbearers were Stacy McKenzie, Harvey Armstrong, Bill Whitehead, Alex Hazelwood, Roger Crandlemire, and Elmer Foster. Interment was at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation.
