- Margaret Edna (Maggie) - Peacefully in Fairview Manor, Almonte on Saturday, March 30,1996. Margaret E. Foster of Almonte. In Her 90th Year. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert G. Munro. Dearly loved mother of Beatrice (Mrs. Art Desarmia), Mervyn, Bert, Helen (Mrs. Glen James), Jack, Jean (Mrs. Murray Smith) and Doug all of Almonte, Vera (Mrs. Bill Church) of Fredericton, N.B., and Gary of Winchester. Also survived by 1 sister Rebecca, 28 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 3 daughters Mrs. Flossie Houston, Mrs. Muriel Stuart and Mrs. Shirley Drynan and 2 sons Alex and James, also by 4 brothers Ernest, Roy, Irvine and Thomas and 2 sisters Flossie and Jessie. Friends called at the C.R. Gamble Funeral Home, 127 Church Street, Almonte. Service was held in the Chapel on Monday. Rev. Ted Colwell officiated. Interment Clayton United Cemetery.
