- MUNRO, Hugh Ernest - In hospital at Pembroke on Saturday, May 28, 1983. HUGH E. MUNRO. (Of Pembroke in his 68th year). Son of the late John Munro and his wife the late Elizabeth Young. Dear brother of Harold of Clayton, Clifford and John both of Almonte and Mrs. A Stewart (Effie) of Galbraith. Predeceased by four brothers Gilbert, Andrew, William and Charles and by one sister Mrs. Mary Powers. Rested at the Gamble & Comba Funeral Home, 127 Church Street, Almonte from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and where service was held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. James Whyte officiating. Interment Clayton United Cemetery.
