At her home, with family on Friday May 29, 2015, in her 70th year.
Predeceased by her parents William and Mary Powers, her brother Albert Powers and her daughter Grace Elizabeth Burns. Loving mother of David Burns (Brenda), Fred Burns (Sheri) and Bruce Burns (Kellie). Proud grandmother of William Burns (Tara) and Brittany Burns. Mildred will be missed by her extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation will take place at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Tuesday June 2, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Wednesday in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Guthrie United Cemetery, Clayton.
As Mildred?s choice, for those who wish, a donation to the Carleton Place Baptist Church would be appreciated.
