- MCARTHUR John Stuart, born in Almonte, Ontario on October 14, 1937, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on June 15, 2002. Stuart is survived by his wife and best friend, Anne Scott, his son John and daughter Sheila,Hudson, Quebec, sisters and brothers, Anne Lowe, Catherine Ethel Pringle (Bruce), Mary Warren (Garry), Ottawa, Ontario, Jim (Judy), Langley, BC, Dorothy Woods (Peter), Wawa, Ontario, Diane Little (Bruce), La Crete, Alberta, Gordon (Angela), Almonte, Ontario and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Linda, and brothers Keith and Clare. Private memorial service by request. Donations to Victoria Hospice Society or BC Cancer Agency would be appreciated.
