| William J. Rhodey RHODEY, William J. - At Freeport Hospital, on March 19, 1979, following a lengthy illness, Willima John Rhodey, age 70 years, of 108 Samuel St.
He was born in Dickie Settlement; son of the late John W. Rhodey and Mary Atchison; beloved husband of the former Lena Peacock; dear father of George of Liberia, Verdun of Waterloo, David of Edmonton, James of Kitchener, Mrs. Bruce (Mary) Harmer of Kitchener; brother of George, of Route 2, Cambridge (G), Ernest of Cambridge (G) and Mrs. William (Eila) Read of Route 2, Cambridge (G). Eleven grandchildren also survive. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Edith Cox, second wife Lauretta McKirdy and his parents.
Friends may call at the RatzBechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. today. Funeral and committal service in the chapel on Thursday at 3 p.m. with Mr. Carson Cowan officiating. Spring interment Blair cemetery.
Donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society may be made as expressions of sympathy.
