Notes |
- MUNRO, Ursula - Mom was born on November 26th, 1925 in Johannesburg Germany, to Gustav and Wilhelmina Schulz. When she was three her family immigrated to Canada and settled in the Forest Trail District, just east of Nipawin, where she took her schooling. She spent a lot of time with her grandparents, Samuel and Pauline Schielke as they homesteaded just west of her family. On January 5th, 1943 Mom and Dad (Robert Howard Munro) were married. Their first home was just a mile down the road from her parents. It wasn't long before they started their family of 5. Alvin in 1943, Dale in 1946, Dorothy in 1949, Doreen in 1954 and Lyle in 1964. Mom and Dad farmed both grain and livestock, which provided a happy and healthy home life for the family. They believed, loved and lived God's Way throughout their lifetime. Mom enjoyed her time in the garden, the animals and the bush - especially picking mushrooms and blueberries, but most of all she loved her family and friends. Her kindness and genuine love for everyone radiated through her smile when she saw someone. She is survived by her loving family; Alvin (Judy) Munro of Nipawin, Dale (Sandra) Munro of Prince Albert, Dorothy Kozak of Nipawin, Doreen (Randy) Hanson of Prince Albert, Lyle (Colleen) Munro of Nipawin; her brother Art (Jean) Schulz of Winnipeg; her brother-in-law Jim (Gladys) Munro; sister-in-law and aunt Ruth Munro (nee Schielke); sisters-in-law Wilma Munro, Esther (Freddy) Becker and Emma Schulz; Thirteen grandchildren Dezi (Dean) Diederichs, Denita (Russ) McTavish, Darla (Andrew) Ritza, Darcia Munro, Sheldon (Kim) Kozak, Shona (Jody) Funk, Sharla (Quinton) Salmond, Bobbi Kotlarchuk (Aaron), Trent (Vanessa) Diehl, Trevor Diehl, Rochelle Diehl, Keeler Munro and Bryton Munro; twenty-two great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Condolences to the family may also be expressed by email at info@heritagefuneral.ca or online at www.heritagefuneral.ca. Arrangements for the late Ursula Munro have been entrusted to Rosemarie Forsberg and her staff at the HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME in Nipawin, SK
