| Archibald Munro Archibald Albert Metcalfe Munro
Clayton native Archibald Albert Metcalfe Monroe died in British Columbia April 8, 1989 at the age of 70.
He was born the son of the late Edward Munro and his late wife Lillian in Clayton. Although he was born in this area, Mr. Munro had lived in British Columbia for 40 years.
He is remembered by his wife Pearl, his daughter Sherry Mode and her husband Jim, his three brothers, Gordon of Toronto, Edward of Almonte and Willard of Smiths Falls and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Martha Craig and Nellie.
He was a longtime employee of Vancouver Plywoods and was also a member of Perfecttion Lodge No. 75 A.F. & A.M. A service of remembrance, with Rev. Harold McDonald officiating, took place April 13 in New Westminster, B.C. and was followed by cremation. |
