George Wellington Byers - Funeral services were conducted for Mr. George Wellington Byers on Thursday, December 18, 1986 by Reverend Fred Sorenson at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan. Mr. Byers died Tuesday, December 16, in his 57th year.
George Byers, loving husband to Isabel Holiday, Callander. Loving father to Lorraine (Mrs, Peter La-gassie), Callander; Joan, at home; Wayne, Chisholm. He is survived by three sisters, Millie Ayers, Clair Jamieson, Bernice McDonald and one brother Edward, all of Callander.
His casket bearers were all nephews, Norman Ayers, Darren, Tim and Doug McDonald, Garfield Van-Horn, A1 Gardiner. Spring interment Callander Union Cemetery.
