Art Desarmia Almonte, age 79 years Beloved husband of the late Beatrice Munro. Dear brother of Sheila Manion (Joe) of Almonte and Barry (Gay) Desarmia of Carleton Place. Predeceased by 3 brothers; Francis, William, & Patrick. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 127 Church Street, Almonte for visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and where Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 2 pm, Rev. Fr. Pierre Champoux. Spring interment Guthrie United Cemetery, Clayton. Legion members are asked to assemble in the Chapel of the funeral home for a service on Monday evening at 6:45 p.m. Donations in memory of Art may be made at the funeral home to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation and would be appreciated. --Published on December 15, 2008
