A car accident Saturday afternoon on Hwy. 11-N near Hearst claimed the life of Everett Duane (Don) Grawbarger. He was 41. The accident also took the life of a second unidentified person.
Born April 11, 1932, Everett Grawbarger was the son of Mrs. Everett Grawbarger and the late Mr. Grawbarger. He was born at Restoule and moved to Kapuskasing in 1961. Mr. Grawbarger worked as a forestry foreman with Ontario Hydro. He attended the United Church and was a member of the Kapuskasing Lions Club.
He is survived by two sons, Jerry Kapuskasing and Allan of Powassan; three brothers, Vince of Goulais River, Ivan of Restoule and Lyall of Salmo, B.C.: and two sisters, Mrs. Doug Forster (Olive) of Hamilton and Mrs. Ella Avery of Powassan.
Rev. Robert Jackson will conduct the funeral service Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Restoule United Church with interment at the Restoule Cemetery. Paul Funeral Home of Powassan is in charge of the arrangements.
