    HOAG, Delores Muretta (nee Busch)
    - On Friday, December 6, 1996, at the Sensenbrenner Hospital, at the age of 64 years. Survived by her father William Conrad Busch, two sons, Allan Grawbarger, Gerry Grawbarger (wife Lise), both of Kapuskasing, five sisters, Clarice Hummel (husband Ron), Nita Dargie, both of Powassan, Del Crosetta (husband Renzo) of Port Elgin, Adwina Whitsitt (husband Paul) of Courtright, Noreen Leroux (husband Gerald) of North six brothers, Evan Busch (wife Marlene) of Trout Creek, Rick Busch (wife Jackie) of North Bay, Ed Busch (wife Helen), Dint (wife Judy), Ron (wife Judy), Glen (wife Kathy), all of Powassan, as well as three grandchildren. Predeceased by her mother Bertha Irene Busch and one brother Eric Busch. Funeral service was held in the Chapel of the Guenette Funeral Home, (705-335-2433) on Monday, December 9th at 10:30 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

    • Delores was born October 15 1932 at the Alf Storie homestead on Alsace Rd; the first-born of Bertha Storie and William Busch. Delores was raised in Storie, Nipissing Village and Powassan, attended Nipissing Public and Powassan High schools. She lived many places in her lifetime, Toronto, Timmins, Grand Prairie Alberta, Sorrento British Columbia and Kapuskasing. She married Duane Everett Grawbarger in February 1960 at the United Church Manse in Callander and was the mother of two sons. A housewife, she was employed as a telephone operator, nurses aide, waitress and did clerical work for several companies. Described as 5'2 with medium brown hair and blue eyes, she enjoyed crocheting, dancing, travelling and cooking. She could play the piano and took special interest in politics working for the NDP in Timmins. Delores was a member of the United Church, Ladies Orange Lodge and the Royal Canadian Legion. After her husbands death in 1973, she married Bernard Gelinas, who died of a heart attack in 1974, She remarried again in August of 1985 but had the marriage annulled in January of 1986. Delores died of cancer on January 6 1996 and was buried in the Catholic Cemetery in Timmins with her second husband.
