Passed away peacefully surrounded by Ken, Myrna, Carson and Leslie on Friday, January 4, 2019 in her 94th year. Dear mother of Kenneth (Myrna) Cobb and mother-in-law of Brenda Cobb. Loving grandmother to Leah, Bradley, Blair (Amanda), Graham (Melissa), Martin, Natalie and six great grand children. Survived by her sister-in-law?s Ruth Hutchison and Mary Hutchison. Predeceased by her loving husband Frank Cobb, her son Raymond Cobb (Brenda), her brothers Roy, Gaius, Bart, Steve and sisters Mina, Fern and Ruth. Left to mourn her loss are numerous family members and friends.
Dorothy was born near Bancroft in 1925. She made her choice to serve god as a young person. She met Frank and they were married in 1951. Dorothy and Frank made their first home at Clappison Corners, where their two sons, Ray and Ken were born. In 1960 they moved to Guelph and built a new home on Arkell road, where they lived until 1990 when they moved to Huntsville. After 19 years in Huntsville, Dorothy and Frank returned to Guelph and shared a home with Ken and Myrna. For the past 4 years Dorothy has required nursing care and spent her last days in Wellington Terrace. Dorothy and Frank were married for 67 years, enjoying the privilege of a meeting in their home for many of those years. Dorothy continued to faithfully serve God until the end of her days.
