- Richard, age 91, passed away, Tuesday, February 16, 2010. He was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, August 8, 1918, the son of Louis and Gladys Boos. Richard graduated from Marshall High School and General Motors Institute now known as Kettering Institute, Flint, MI. He retired from the Oldsmobile Division of GM as supervisor of manufacturing engineering. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Preceded in death by his parents and his brother Louis, he is survived by his wife, Anna, lovingly sharing 67 years of marriage. He also leaves behind many loving friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 5589 Van Atta, Haslett, MI. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church, or Marco Lutheran Church, 525 N. Collier Blvd., Marco Island, FL 34145 or the charity of your choice. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing.
