    • RAPSON, Donald L. Of Plainwell, Formerly of Hickory Corners
      Passed away June 17, 2011. Donald was born July 4, 1936, in Battle Creek, the son of Freeman and Claudine (Ripley) Rapson. A veteran, Donald served his country in the US. Army. He retired from General Motors in 1993, with over twenty seven years of service. Donald loved to golf and hunt. For over twelve years Donald and Joyce lived in Mohave, AZ, returning to Michigan in 2008. On December 3, 1966, he married Joyce Pennock, who survives. Donald is also survived by sisters; Elizabeth Broughman, and Thelma Wood, both of Battle Creek, and several nieces and nephews. His parents and a sister, Mary preceded him in death. According to his wishes there will be no services.
