    • Jason L Wiley. M.D., 97, husband of Eva Moore Wiley of 108 Franklin St. Auburn, NY, died Tuesday. March l0, 1981 in Auburn Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
      Born in Cayuga, N Y, Dr. Wiley was graduated from the Syracuse University Medical School in 1912 and maintained an office in the Auburn Metcalf Building from 1919 through 1973 when he retired one month before his 90th birthday. During the last 44 of those 54 years he limited his practice to ophthalmology. Dr Wiley was the first physician in Auburn to pass specialty boards in ophthalmology. He became a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, was a past president of the Cayuga County Medical Society and was a member of the medical staffs of Auburn Memorial and Mercy Hospitals. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and an honorary life member of the Auburn Rotary Club. Besides his wife he is survived by: three sons: J Larue Wiley, MD a neurosurgeon in Rochester, Robert M Wiley of Beacon, NY and H Scott Wiley, DDS, a dentist in Greece, NY, eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three nephews and two nieces, including Frederick and Ann Wiley of Auburn and William Chamberlain of Oswego.
      Friends are invited to call at the Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. on Thursday. A private family service will be conducted by the Rev.
      Stephen Parr of Trinity United Methodist Church on Friday. March 13. 1981. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Cayuga. NY. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Memorial Funds of Auburn Memorial Hospital or Trinity United Methodist Church.
