| Iriton Grawbarger At North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was 95 years old. Iriton was predeceased by his wife Myrtle (Hughes) (d.2008). He was the much-loved father of Gordon Grawbarger (Mary) of North Bay, Ron Grawbarger (Margo) of Sault Ste. Marie and Judy Muratore (Rocco) of North Bay; Grandfather of five; Great-grandfather of 11; Great-great-grandfather of six. Iriton is survived by his siblings-in-law Audrey Hughes (late Doug), Donna Hughes (late Elmer), Cora Nickelchok (late Al), Roy Hughes (Barb) and Vic Nucara (late Edna). He was predeceased by his sister Doris South (late Bill) and sister-in-law Vera Keith (late Bill). Iriton was a retired, long-time employee of Dupont where he worked as a millwright. The Grawbarger family will receive visitors on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Spring interment Nipissing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (heartandstroke.ca) or the Northern Cancer Foundation (ncfsudbury.com) are suggested. |
