- Lorna Mae Warner Valotta 1929-2012 NORTH ADAMS Lorna Mae (Warner) Valotta 82, of 39 Foucher Ave. North Adams, died peacefully Thursday May 3, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Williamstown on July 9 1929 a daughter of the late Donald and Leona Warner. She attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School in 1947. She also attended Bliss Business College in North Adams. Mrs.Valotta's life was focused on family and home. She was a devoted mother and homemaker and loved spending time with her family at her home. She was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriot Fan. Her husband Joseph James Valotta whom she married July 24, 1948 died April 7, 2002. Survivors include six daughters: Nancy Mae Howland of North Adams, Dawn Marie Lampiasi of North Adams, Kathleen Ann Sepanek of Shutesburg, Mass., Shirley P. Valotta of North Adams, Joanne Eva Dickinson of Gulfport, Miss., and Patricia Rose Sloan of Huntsville, Ala. One son: Joseph James Valotta Jr. of North Adams. 15 Grandchildren and many greatgrandchildren. One brother: Loren A, Warner of Georgia. She was predeceased by a sister: Barbara Beall. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral Services will take place Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling Hours at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS 521 West Main St. North Adams, Ma. were Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial Donations are suggested for the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire through the funeral home.
