- Sally Sophia Miner Blair, 83, of North Little Rock, died March 6, 2012. Born January 4, 1929 in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Etta Kober Leitman. She was retired from ARCA Recording Studio, Affiliated Foods, and Jacuzzi Brothers. A member of Park Hill Christian Church, AARP, Hays Senior Center and Sherwood Senior Center, she enjoyed dancing, traveling, animals, cooking and shopping for bargains.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Kenneth Lawrence Miner; sisters, Pearl Spiwak and Miriam Eisenberg, and a brother, William Leitman.
Survivors are her husband, Lloyd J. Blair; daughters, Nancy Rose Marshall and her husband, Jim, of Bryant and Kathy Lynn Estes and her fiancé, Bill Pickels, of Jupiter Farms, Florida; grandchildren, Coy Thomas Sullivan and his wife, Valerie, Sonya Starr Gooding and husband, Jack, David Ryan Estes, and Jamie Gallivan and her husband, Jay; great-grandchildren, Hannah Grace, Emily Faith, Shelby Hope Sullivan, Ryan Alexander, Sophia Starr Gooding and Ginny Gallivan.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th Little Rock (501) 661-9111 with Miles Cook, officiating. Memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
