Notes |
- Friend Adams was born December 15, 1933 to US NAVY Chaplain Charles and Adelaide Adams. He was raised in a conservative home which led to his strong religious upbringing. He attended Menlo College where he earned his bachelors and then attended Officer Candidate School, after which he met his Eternal companion Sophie Zigich. They started their married life in Japan. That is where they were baptized into the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Friend resigned his commission from the US Navy to become a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. As their love blossomed they wanted to grow their family. Though they could not have children they adopted and were sealed to Scott, Laurie, Wendy and Josh. He retired from the FBI with 22 years of service. Friend lost his companion in 2003. He then found and married his second love and companion on this earth Rosemary Dennis and his family grew even more.
Friend truly lived up to his unique name and everyone who met him loved him and loved being around his infectious personality. Family meant everything to him and his favorite thing was spending time with them.
He is survived by his Wife Rosemary Dennis Adams, his son Scott Adams and wife Gloria, his daughter Lauri Hyer and her husband Kevin, his daughter Wendy Besand and her husband Derek and his son Josh Adams and his wife Jennifer, his son Sam Dennis, and his Son Michael Dennis and his wife Jessica.
