- Funeral services for Mark Ellingsworth, age 59 of 219 St. Mary Street in Watertown, NY will be held on Tuesday, July 21st at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church in Watertown with Rev. Leo Wiley officiating.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 20th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Hart & Bruce Funeral Home 117 N. Massey Street in Watertown, NY. Mark passed away on July 16, 2015 at home with his loving family by his side.
Surviving are his loving wife Christine A. Ellingsworth, Watertown; a daughter and son in law, Rachel A. and Matthew Walker, Smyrna, Georgia; a son, Andrew M. Ellingsworth and companion Ashley Barker, Atlanta, Georgia; a granddaughter, Sophia Walker; his mother and stepfather, Patricia and Robert McIlroy, Evans Mills; maternal grandfather, Charles Saul, Fort Myers, Florida; two brothers and a sister in law, Dane and Maria Ellingsworth, Watertown, Lance Ellingsworth and his companion, Tina Fluno, Watertown; his mother in law, Elizabeth Rolfe, Adams Center and many brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives. He was predeceased by his father, Jack Ellingsworth; grandmother, Ruby Ellingsworth; grandmother, Susan Saul; and father in law, Charles Rolfe.
He was born on September 10, 1955, in Watertown, NY son of Jack and Patricia Benton Ellingsworth, he graduated from Watertown High School in 1973 and from JCC in 1975 with an associates degree in criminal justice.
He married Christine A. Rolfe of Pamelia on August 20, 1977 at Sacred Heart Church. She has been in the nursing profession for over 35 years in the local area.
Mr. Ellingsworth worked at the New York Air Brake as a Purchasing Manager for 26 years. With his position he was able to travel all over the world. Some of his favorite places that he had traveled to were China, India and Mexico.
He was a member of the Watertown Elks Lodge #496 and a member of the Purchasing Management Association. He obtained many other certificates and training during his career.
He enjoyed boating on the St. Lawrence River, traveling all over the world with his family, the outdoors, visiting his children in Georgia and was an avid football fan (go Cowboys)! He was very proud of his children and loved his hugs and kisses from his granddaughter Sophia.
