- DUNCAN, Elizabeth Peacefully at Fairview Manor, Almonte on Saturday, February 28, 2009 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Duncan. Dear mother of Donald (Diane) of Almonte, Nancy Christensen (Dwight) of Ottawa and Janice Love (William) of Mississauga. Loving granddaughter of Scott and David (Lisa) Duncan, Brent Christensen (Erica), and Bradley and Jennifer Love. Dear sister of Kathleen Thomson and Ruth Fresque. Predeceased by her granddaughter Heather Duncan and brother Edwin Coxford. Friends may call at the Almonte chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte on Tuesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. those wishing may make memorial donations to the Fairview Manor or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
