WILMA PEACOCK
We regret to announce the passing of Wilma Ilene Peacock (Blighton) on April 23rd, 2007. Wilma was born on April 21, 1928 in Kelowna, BC. Her childhood was spent in Snowshoe, BC. She then moved to Prince George where she met the love of her life, Nelson Peacock. They were married on August 12, 1949. In 1975 the family moved to Armstrong until retiring to Vernon in 1995.
Wilma is survived by her best friend and loving husband, Nelson, five children: Judy (Ray) Arnoldus, Allan Peacock, Laurie (Dan Proulx) Peacock, Bruce Peacock, Gayle (Darrell) Knorr; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 5 sisters.
Funeral service will be held at the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home on Saturday, April 28 at 2:00 P.M. A reception will follow in the Pleasant Valley Tea Room. There will be a visitation on Friday April 27 at 7:00 P.M. and on Saturday, April 28 from 1200 ? 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Wilma may do so to the Vancouver Children?s Hospital.
