    • MRS. EDWARD MANAREY

      The death of Mrs. Edward Manarey of Bridge Street, Almonte, occurred at the Riverside Hospital, Ottawa, on Wednesday afternoon, March 12, following a short illness. She was 86. The former Caroline Evans, she was born at White Lake on July 16, 1888, a daughter of the late George Evans and his wife, Mary Thomlinson. She was married at Cedar Hill on June 3, 1907, to the late Edward Manarey. Mrs. Manarey was a member of Almonte United Church. She is survived by two sons Stewart and Glen of Almonte, and three daughters, Myrtle (Mrs. Brown) and Phyllis, both of Ottawa, and Hazel (Mrs. Harry Sadler) of Carleton Place. The funeral was held from the Kerry Funeral Home, Elgin Street, Almonte, on Friday afternoon, March 14, with interment at Clayton United Cemetery. Rev. Robert McCrea conducted the services. Pallbearers were Murray Sadler, Jack Sadler, Gordon Manarey, William Cameron, Lloyd Dickson and Forbes Evans.
