MRS BERTRAM CLARKE
Mrs. Bertram Clarke passed away at Ottawa on Monday, Jan 2nd in her 66th year.
Born in Almonte, Annie Pearl Illingworth, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Illingworth. She was educated in the local schools and 46 years ago was married to Bertram Clarke who passed away 12 years ago.
She leaves to mourn three daughters, Joan, Mrs. Garnet Campbell, Miss Florence Clarke, both of Ottawa and Jean, Mrs. Dan Larocque of Almonte also one sister, Mrs. Dan McKercher of Arnprior and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Clarke was a member of Stewarton United Church, Ottawa.
The funeral service was held from the Comba Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 4th at 2 p.m. Rev J. Ray Anderson of Almonte United Church, officiated.
The pallbearers were Messrs Gordon Houston, George Houriggan, Austin Darling, Arnold Illingworth and Jack Reid and James McDougall of Ottawa.
Interment was in the Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte.
