Peacefully in hospital in Perth on Saturday, May 12th, 2012, Blanche M. (Somerville) Munroe in her 93rd year. She was predeceased by her husband Keith Munroe and son Laurie and his wife Vivian Munroe of Middleville. Blanche was the loved mother of Doug (Barb) and Garry (Vivian) Munroe of Perth and Keitha (Keith) Johnson of Napanee. She will be sadly missed by her nine grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Donald (Rose) Somerville of Perth and predeceased by sisters and brothers Isabel Ireton, Florence Bowes, Jack and David Somerville. Blanche will be fondly remembered by good friends Sylvia and Bruce Rodger and family of Middleville, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth, Monday, May 14th, 2012 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. The service will be held in the chapel Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Lanark. In remembrance, contributions to Trinity United Church, Middleville or the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
