Obituary & Death Notice |
| Agapito Vallejo Jr. Agapito Vallejo Jr.
Merced, CA - On Sunday September 27th, Agapito "Pete" Vallejo Jr. passed away peacefully at home from a heart related illness at 62 years of age. Agapito "Pete" was one of seven children born to Frances Pineda and Agapito Vallejo Sr. Pete grew up in the Salinas area and although he ventured elsewhere, he always made his way back. Pete was a tremendously hard worker and spent most of his time putting food on the table. In his spare time he enjoyed watching 49er football and fishing in Moss Landing and Monterey Bay. Pete had a lively personality and brilliant smile.
Petes passing succeeds his late wife and mother of his six children, Judy Vallejo, who lost her battle with cancer in December 2014. Pete was remarried in may of 2016 to Narzarina " Nery" Infante, who was loving and loyal to the end. Agapito is survived by his wife Nery, and his children, Peter Vallejo, Jennifer Simmons, Ladonna Vargas, Yvonne Diaz, Crystal Strothers, and Joline Murillo, as well as numerous grandchildren.
He will be missed beyond measure and always in the hearts of those who knew him.
Funeral Services will be held, Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Family Christian Center, 111 Prado St. Salinas, CA 93906.
