  BYERS, Walter The family announces with sorrow , Walter's death in Ottawa on Sunday, January 15 2012 at the age of 88. Son of the late Ephriam Byers and the late Martha John. Loving husband of Betty (nee Paquette) and father of Dan, Harvey (Joanna) of Ottawa, Debbie (Guy Venne) of Sudbury and predeceased by his daughter Bonnie and son Gary. Predeceased by his loving brothers Robert and Lorne and loving sisters Elizabeth, Muriel and Gladys. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his Grandchildren Kara, Jonathan, Emily, Stephen, Micheal, Nicholas, Tammy, Betty, Robert John, Tina, Mathew, Jason and 7 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Friday January 20th 2011 after 10:00am at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa. A Celebration of Walters life will follow at 12 noon. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
