| William Carter William G. Carter, Sr., age 77, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at Broadview Health Center, Columbus. Veteran Army Sgt., Korean War. Retired Sales Tax Auditor for the State of Ohio Taxation Dept. Preceded in death by wife, Verna K. Carter; father, Donald H. Carter, Sr., and Aunt Francis Timmerman. Survived by sons, William (Wanda) Carter, Jr., and Thomas (Julie) Carter; grandchildren, Nicole, Nathan, William III, Shana, Kevin, and Landon; 9 great-grandchildren; mother, Dorothy Carter; brother, Donald (Mary) Carter, Jr.; sisters, Norma (Frank) Brooks, Virginia (Ed) Shields, and Judy (Eladio) Amores. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH, where Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2005. Interment Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Harbor Light Hospice, 253 N. State Street, Westerville, OH 43081 in William's memory. He was greatly loved.
