| Elizabeth Robinson Elizabeth Phila Scott, wife of Charles Robinson, was born in Moriah in 1867 and died at Long Lake March 3, 1904. of heart disease. Besides her husband, the deceased left a two weeks-old baby and two daughters Nellie and Hazel, aged respectively thirteen and eleven years; also her mother, Mrs. N. Scott, and three sisters, Mrs. Wallace Plumley, Mrs. Cecil Kellogg and Mrs. Arthur Hewitt, all of this place. A large company of mourning friends gathered to pay their tribute of respect to the departed Sunday morning at the Methodist Episcopal church. The Rev. Luther A. Brown conducted the service assisted by the Rev. Mr. Stokes and Mr. Shaw. The text used by Mr. Brown was from Matt. xiv, 27, "Be of good cheer, it is I, be not afraid." The altar was tastefully decorated with flowers. The bereaved father and children have the sympathy of all. The deceased had a large circle of friends. |
