The daughter of Guy and Bernice Adams Tucker
She was a graduate of the Arkport School, Mansfield State Teachers College and had done her post graduate work at Syracuse University. She had resided in the Hornell and Arkport area for Several Years. She had Taught elementary school in the former Washingon School in Hornell and Arkport Central School. Prior to her retirement in 1975. Vivian was a 73 year member of the First Presbyterian Church in Arkport and had Served as a trustee, Deacon and elder in the Church. She was active in the Church Choir and the Woman's Circle of the Church. she will be remembered as an avid Mets Fan and enthusiastic bowler. She and her husband were members of the former "500 Club."
She was preceded in Death by her husband Homer Theodore King in 1974.
She is survived by two sons James"gary" King
and David (Betsy)King and one grandaughter Nicole King.
